We have seen many shows here over the years, especially at their Stage One venue. This theater holds only 225 people - it's almost like being in a living room.

We went to a concert at this local venue last night for the first time. What a wonderful place to catch a concert! The venue is small and intimate, not a bad seat in the house. It's like sitting around in someone's living room. After the show, both artist, the opening act and the headliner were available for autographs and photos in the lobby. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and are so happy to have finally discovered this little diamond in our own backyard. We will most certainly return. The theater is located in the downtown area of Fairfield on a little side street right next to Metro North train. There is plenty of parking and loads of good restaurants nearby. Beer and wine are available in the theater as well as snacks. There are also a few little tables in the lobby area. Check their website for their line-up, they have some great concerts coming up.

My husband and I came here in August 2014 to see Moreland and Arbuckle. They have multiple stages. M&A were on Stage One. It seats 225 people. The chairs are in a U Shape around the stage and each row is on a wooden tier. Chairs were ultra comfortable - best ever at a concert hall - ergonomic and plush. No line of sight issues due to the tiers..They have a small bar out front for drinks. It was our seventh time seeing M&A - they are one of our favorite acts - but were not well known to the local audience. Even so they really got into the music. In one section everyone started stomping on the wood floor in time with the beat as Arbuckle was just playing his harmonica. Great moment. The FTC location is right by the Fairfield train station,. Literally. If you stand at the front door of FTC you can look across the parking lot and see the train station. No obstructions - just walk on over. There are a number of good restaurants in the area within a quarter mile.FTC is a not for profit. Tickets are quite reasonable but price will, of course, vary depending on the act. They have a number of great acts coming through. We'll have to come more often.FTC has their own website with seating charts etc. etc.

this place gets the best bands, the sound system is top notch and the capacity is only 225. every seat is fantastic...this venue has spoiled me...i cant see a concert in a big auditorium anymore....if you live in the area and havent seen a concert (or many ) here, you are truly depriving yourself of a great experience...nice bartenders also

The Fairfield Theater Company is located in southwest Connecticut and is easily accessible from much of CT and the NY City/West Chester County area. The charming and upscale town of Fairfield offers a wide variety of eateries in which to enjoy a pre-theater bite. The theater itself offers plenty of parking in its own lot and across the street at the train station lot. FTC hosts all kinds of performers and musical and other productions in an intimate setting. We've never had a bad seat and visibility seems great everywhere. Ticket prices vary depending on the entertainment but are reasonable. There is a small bar in the theater which remains open during the shows. Restrooms very clean. We always have a wonderful time at the FTC.

If their ever was a venue that equated to the band playing in your living room, this is it. Seats a little over 200 on 3 sides of the stage. Great sound system-staff is extraordinary throughout, Artist list is ridiculously good for a venue this size-it is not unusual for inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to grace this stage. Go, enjoy. Repeat.

There is nothing like the FTC for miles around! An intimate black-box stage, all seats are quite close to the performers and the sound system is well-suited when sensitively manned. This is a place that attracts a diverse crowd of all ages, and features many acts that are either established or on their way up. Ticket prices also tend to be reasonable. A gem, and Fairfield County could use more of this type of venue. There are also lots of places to eat before or after the performances in the surrounding area. Too bad nearby Westport missed the boat.

The Revivalists are a classic New Orleans band I have been meaning to see for years. The Stage One theater of Fairfield Theater is intimate and perfect for live music. Awesome! I just wish it was closer to Bloomfield. The drive to and from can be a challenge but always worth it.

FTC puts on shows at the Klein in Bridgeport and at Stage One in Fairfield. Stage One is tiny and an amazing place to see/hear music. I have seen some fabulous shows there and soon will be seeing Leon Russell. If you are a member of FTC, you will get advance notice of shows which is good because they often sell out. My only issue with Stage One AND the Klein is that people run up to the stage and feel the need to dance and wave their arms around so that people who prefer to remain seated are unable to see. It's a much bigger issue at Stage One, obviously, because it's so small. I have spoken with management about this, including suggesting they create a designated dancing area, but no changes yet. I may be an old curmudgeon, but when I go to music, I'm there to experience the entire performance, including SEEING the musicians play and sing. I am not there to waggle my tush in other people's faces. If you want to dance, go to a club.

This little theater in our town brings in a constant stream of small bands with huge talent. Last year, we really enjoyed concerts by Alan Doyle and Séan McCann. They also use the Klein Auditorium in Bridgeport for bigger shows. A year ago, Boz Scaggs thrilled us with his latest album, Memphis.

This place is hopping-quite a buzz. Great atmosphere for listening to good music. The gallery, run by Art/Place artists is part of the entry/bar area. So guests get the experience of music, art and spirits!

We have been many times. Nationally know artists and close up seating. Good place to go to a concert.

I have been to many shows at FTC Stage One and enjoyed them all. Found some new favorite bands and have heard multiple artists say that they love the sound and the crowd in the theater, which seems to make them return again and again as you will want to.

The Fairfield Theater does about 180 concerts a year and with National level artists. Every seat feels like a front row seat. They also have a lot more to offer. Go to their web site or, better still, become a member.
