Thank your for your kind review. We were pleased to see that it related to a company outing here at the park and certainly will do our best to continue to provide excellent service throughout the property.

The manager was rude and not accommodating when a minor issue occurred and his staff was in the wrong .especially since I waited in line with my 1 year old daughter for a train ride for 45 min only to be turned around because we didn't have a ticket..

Looking for a bargain, I purchased from groupon a pass for a family of 4 to Quassy Amusement park this past summer, late July I believe. We have enjoyed another Ct. amusement park for years and thought this one would be comparable. We were wrong. It was smaller, with less water rides and less of everything. There must have been over 20 bus loads of campers, who at times were quite rowdy. But ok I get it, kids will be kids and I have 3 of my own, but what I did not like was this "line scam" I observed more than once. One camper would be somewhere near the front of the line. They would signal to other campers and a counselor to come to where the were, claiming that they were all together. this happened on the only roller coaster in the park, a mediocre one at best. The overwhelmed teenage operator said nothing about it, and when another parent on line commented to the counselor she was promptly and rudely told to "mind her dam business". That was a deal breaker to me as I mentally checked Quassy off my list of places to revisit. That, along with horrible pizza (pasty fake cheese, under cooked), one tiny dressing/changing shower area which we were rushed out of when it closed (too crowded) and a 30 minute wait just for hot dogs and Pepsi (do NOT ever go on a Friday night as this is what you will encounter) will cause me to never, ever return...Lake Compounce, I'm sorry I cheated on you, I will be back to you next summer!

Thanks for the great review, we greatly appreciate it. Being family-owned now since 1937, we take things to heart. Wooden Warrior has been a great success for us as well as recent waterpark additions. We have two new rides coming for 2015 to further expand the family experience with us.

Pros: no lines, affordable, water splash was a thrillcons: staff members were a little rude, geared towards smaller children
