What a gem! Nestled on the outskirts of the Virginia Tech campus, this park is a beautiful spot to go for a stroll, have a picnic, sit on a bench and read or take beautiful photos of the flora. A koi pond is an added bonus. The arbor with twinkling lights would be a great spot for a wedding ceremony!

This is a nice, hidden away little garden at VT. Quite small - if you're looking for a more lengthy stroll this isn't the place. But it's quite beautiful.

Great place for springtime photography and quiet reflection. Favorite place for wedding shots, prom, family photos, etc. Wide array of flora, both traditional beds and water/pond plants. Lots of colors...well maintained with broad flowering time frame...early spring through mid summer. Quiet and private on early weekend mornings. Wonderful location.

The garden is well maintained and a very beautiful space. There is something to enjoy in every season, including a native garden and a koi pond. Having lunch there on a sunny day is one of my favorites.

Eat over by the wood deck that affords a nice view of all the brightly-colored fishes swimming about, and when you're done eating, stroll amid the beautiful plants and count butterflies.

Enjoy seeing different kinds of plants, bushes, and trees, but the favorite things for my mother and my grandchildren are the goldfish ponds and the benches hidden among the bushes.

Tucked between several buildings and opening back around the baseball field, the Hahn Garden is delightful. The volunteers make sure it is always lovely. The newest section is more wild and the gardener will find many ideas here. Whether alone or with others, or attending an event like a wedding, it's a great location.

Hahn Horticulture garden is beautiful. Parking at times can be tricky during and event. There are many wonderful places to enjoy the plants. The only reason it lost a star is because some plants are not marked and they could provide more information on plants.

The Hahn Garden is actually a horticulture classroom! Any season is the right time to walk through the different areas in the garden.

This is a beautiful gem of a location tucked away on the Virginia Tech campus. I love coming here and taking pictures on all my visits. Do not miss this great location.

I work on campus and visit the garden often. The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech is a wonderful place to have a picnic, study, take a stroll or just sit in the shade and contemplate. It is a teaching garden and you often see students and professors walking around talking about plants. There are two ponds, one larger with a waterfall and large beautiful koi. Many plant varieties are on site. I have been taking breaks here for years and have enjoyed the growth and ever changing gardens within the garden. A beautiful, peaceful place.

While I was touring the Virginia Tech campus I was able to visit the Hahn Horticultural garden.It was a very hot day, so the shade provided by the garden was welcome. Lots of benches to sit on and contemplate nature. Beautiful lily pond with ducks and koi. I came acrosss a statue made by Frank Lloyd Wright which was a surprising find.If you are on campus, stop by and visit this quiet, beautiful spot.

Although this is a small botanical garden it is beautifully laid out. A pond with giant gold fish is lovely as well as a central walk way shaded by trees.

We visited the gardens on a bright and sunny Saturday, and were pleasantly surprised with what greeted us!! We will definitely be visiting this place more often.

A peaceful setting with many different types of planting. Walk on the trails or sit on the benches and admire the beauty of the venue. It also has a venue that you can rent for a party.
