ITS NEAR EVERYTHING and has great walking trails and in spring/summer ball games! THEY ALSO have camping area and picnic.. we love to feed the ducks in the stream

Nice park to go for a walk or ride bicycles in. Have playgrounds for the kids and picnic shelters for birthday parties or reunions. Rangers were very nice and helpful. Had enjoyable day there.

A nice quiet park with streams and camping located in the busy heart of Bristol, VA. Once you drive up over the hill you won't believe how peaceful and serene this park is. Plenty of campsites, some with wifi and cable, nice walking, running and hiking trails.

If you are making a long trip along the I-81 corridor then do yourself a favor and plan to visit the Sugar Hallow Park just off exit 7 in Bristol, VA. Here you and your kids can exercise, run, play, or hike the trails while you shake of the hours of "car-butt" from the long drive.

Nice park lots of fun. Easy access to the main road. Lots of walking or running space. Kids can play at the play ground.

Shady, clean, bathrooms nice shelters.We had a large family gathering and everyone enjoyed the location.

This beautiful park really has two parts, one that is easily seen from the road, and another you need to visit past the ranger station. Only $1 per car load! The park is well kept up. You will not see trash. Pavilions are available for groups. Be sure and take flip flops for creek walking and explore the trails. There is a short walk to a beautiful waterfall or a longer walk back in the woods. Again, all beautifully maintained.

A very nice urban park. Good place to picnic by the creek, nice picnic shelters, horseshoe pits, BBQs, hiking trails, etc. Good place to have a family gathering, well maintained with a variety of activities. We did some hiking and the trails are maintained but not used to much as we were knocking down spider webs all along the way. Also a good place to catch a snake. I managed to do that on the front porch of the ranger house. The park also has soccer and baseball fields as well as a wetland area. Just across the street from the wetlands trail you will find a bit of history known as the Resting Tree--a place where the slaves of the plantation rested during their work day--and were eventually buried there.

I love this park. It is well lit and I feel safe walking alone. There are many trails ranging from beginner to advanced. It is a beautiful park and is well maintained by the city if Bristol, VA.

Awesome place to get a little exercise or walk the dogs. Very pretty place and close to the hotels if you are staying in the area.

I met my sister in Bristol for a vacation. Our hotel was near this park and we loved visiting it. We walked the trails each day. It is so nice with a stream and a marshy area. It also took you through the woods which made it cooler on hot days. I wish we had a park like this near home.
