virginia mountain vineyards

Went with some friends to visit the winery and had a pleasant time. The owner is wonderful and the wine was really good. Bought 2 bottles and going back in March to buy the Strawberry wine.

Beautiful location. Small operation. Get directions if you are not familiar with the area. I will tell you that is is north of the town of Fincastle off of US Rt 220 on VA Rt 655. They charge for tastings which I had never experienced. We bought 6 bottles of wine for $106. I have seen much higher prices at other vineyards. Especially like the Chardonnay Reserve & the Rose. Attendants were very friendly & informative.
