There's not much to say, but it is all good ! It is an excellent little country store on Rt. 33, heading out to the country. They have the "old Times" things that you would look for in this type of store. They fix a very good sandwich, excellent "corn dogs", and the people are "country friendly".

Great place which attracts a crowd for breakfast and lunch. Not many dining in options so be prepared to get your order to go. Food is prepared right in front of you and the people could not be nicer. Big fan of the bacon & egg biscuit and the fries at lunch are great. Not a health food mecca as you can tell.

First, yes. It's a store. A small, local convenience store, so drop in and support the locals. They have a small grill in the corner from which all the food comes.That said, however, the local folks must not have many selections. We dropped by for lunch based on Tripadvisor ratings. One grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings and 3 very small (2 oz) sides came to 13 dollars. For that it should be smoked Gouda on sourdough. It was American cheese on 2 slices of white bread..grilled with not enough butter. The sides were tasty; in fact, I'd rate their coleslaw one of the best I've had, nicely tart dressing without being overly creamy. The macaroni salad is also very good with the unexpected addition of banana peppers. The sides ARE delicious, but a small side is 2.00. For two bucks I want at least a nice slotted spoonful. They do offer burgers and other popular sandwich choices. The folks were all friendly, and the locals stream steadily in. There is exactly ONE small table in the back and 2 picnic tables out front. Most folks were getting it to go. If you're thinking diners, drive-ins and dives, then no, this is not going to fit your bill. It will get you a soft drink and a good enough sandwich to get you back on the road.

Great little place near not much else, but the best sandwiches, crab cakes and milkshakes in town! There are a few tables Inside and a few picnic tables outside or just get it to go.

I have visited the Stanley Store a few times over the past few months, after neglecting to go there for FAR TOO LONG! (I've lived in the area for 6 years now) I do not like fast-food, or chain restaurants, and prefer to shop local. Their bacon, egg, and cheese on a biscuit is THE best breakfast sammie I've ever had!! (and breakfast sandwiches are my jam!) The entire menu looks delicious and I plan on working my way through the items. I have also had their cheesesteak. After growing up in the Philadelphia area, I can attest to the fact that their cheesesteak is on point! This place is delicious, affordable, and local. GO to the Stanley Store today for a meal! I bet anything you order, you'll love!

There is literally nothing on the menu at Stanley's store that is less than outstanding. I am a very discerning, and picky diner. (I refuse to eat fast food, I do not eat at chain restaurants, and I hate cheap junk.) I have literally never been disappointed by the food or service at Stanley's store. Dave and his employees do it right. The "comfort" food at Stanley's store is made to order, so it's always fresh, and the employees are both genuine and helpful. The food is very, very reasonably priced. The lunch rush can be busy at times but I guarantee it is worth the wait. (Just FYI-- I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes for my to-go food. If you're in a rush, just call it in.)

I gave been a customer of David's (the chef) for 5 yearsStanley's Store has been on the corner of Rt 33 & Rt 623 for over 65 yearsIt is my favorite breakfast & lunch place!!! I grew up in Richmond , Va in my family's bars & restaurant's. The first time I walked in I knew I was going to love it!!! David makes everything home-made. So I tried his Crab cake sandwich special last Friday and he told me it was going to be the "best crab-cake I'd ever eat and next to my Granny's it is. I ate lunch in my car and when I finished I went back in and bought 5 in- cooked crab- cakes to take home for supper Everything is fresh and good!!!! My husband and I stop I'm on our way to Lake Anna and get Deviled Eggs and an order of pasta salad for the ride. And did I say the Burgers are made fresh daily? Yum!!!! On that Flat- top!!! With grilled bun!!!
