bay country kayaking

I had such an amazing time taking this tour with Shannon. I invited my younger teenage brothers on tour and they had a great time. Shannon did a wonderful job educating us on our surroundings while keeping my teenage brothers entertained and involved. We were not the only three on the tour another family of four was along on the tour with two young children, I was impressed how Shannon handled the difference in age groups, keeping everyone involved. I will definitely use her tour again, she was safe, professional, and FUN.

I cannot say enough good things about this trip. Shannon was wonderful with the children and with us (adults)- we all learned so much about the Chesapeake Bay area and enjoyed a paddle we could all handle. I would recommend this to anyone visiting here, with or without children. We had three ages 8, 6, and 5 and none were too young to appreciate the natural world that Shannon introduced us to. Extremely reasonable price too - we hope Shannon will visit us sometime and give us a tour where WE live--!

I have taken tours with Shannon (owner) on both sides of the Bay and it is BY FAR one of the most informative (without being overdone) and enjoyable trips I've ever taken!!! One of our trips had a bit of inclement weather but Shannon handled it professionally and safely. I will definitely use this tour company again!!!! I also love that they are family owned. :) :) :)

My friends and I had a blast with Bay Country Kayaking! The location was ideal, the trip was well rounded for all skill sets, and the guide was extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and history. I'd do it again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone inquiring. -JEH
