great place for bowling!! full service bar!! and other things like specials and other events happening
We have been coming to this bowling alley for several years and have seen some changes in this establishment. It had fallen in a little bit of disrepair and a lot of attention and it was brought up to a very high quality fast. We have run the gamete from visiting just for a few games, to the summer bowling program to birthday parties. Let me focus on each in a few sentences: the single game visits is very low cost you are able to get a lane almost at any point in the day. The summer bowling program is extremely reasonable for a family to bowl 2 games per day from Easter Sunday to Labor Day for six family members for under $40. The kids get to bowl for free but adults have to pay for their participation, but with the bowling program it allows the family members to join in on this great cost savings fun. The birthday parties have been very reasonable for a party of 20 kids for less than $300 with bowling food and drinks. The attention to detail is superb and they are always looking to improve on all the quality and professionalism. The cost of the food and drink is very reasonable and good quality and would highly recommend this venue to others with or without children.
My husband and I took our family here on a Monday when they are running a $1/a game $1/shoe rental special. This was our first time bowling at the facility. We had a great time! There weren't a lot of people there. Which was great. The facility was clean especially the bathroom. The staff was helpful and kind. We had a great time! Our family will be going back and we do recommend this facility to anyone.
we have been there several times but Saturday night might have been our last. we went there at 9pm to have a birthday party for my wife. we signed up for 3 hours unlimited bowling at $15. each. there was just 4 of us there. they shut the lane off at 11pm, that's just 2 hours. we talked with the girl running it but she said we had been there 3 hours already. had to call manager to get it straight. they have a d j there and the music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other. I bought a mixed drink and a bottle of beer that cost $12.
@suzzycuce I am truly sorry for what you experienced. Did you confront one our managers? I want you to know, we do not operate like that EVER. We had two employees call out yesterday and we were training someone at the same time. I looked back at our cameras in the kitchen and although, could not find it, still reprimanded our staff this morning. Your experience matters to us and we strive to please our customers. Can you please email me at roblacova@gmail.com? I will make sure your next experience at King Pin is completely different- and you will have nothing but good things to say. Give us another shot.
Our Lion's Club goes bowling once a year at King Pin Lanes. It is a great time with bowling and pizza1
I use to go just about every weekend to enjoy some karaoke and good conversation with Mrs.P. I went this pass weekend and no karaoke. I still enjoyed my conversation with Mrs. P but it just wasnt the same without the karaoke. Please bring it back. Not only are you cutting off your faithful karaoke customers but you are taking money away from one of the most hard working women , matter of fact one of the most hard working people in king pin!
Despite being exactly what you would imagine for a bowling alley this is a great place to go for food and drinks. Ms. P is the bar tender and she is sweet, very nice to talk to and makes good, strong drinks. My fiance and I go by for dinner or just drinks weekly, the food is great and the company even better.
I took my 5 kids there this past weekend and had an amazing experience. Literally I paid 1/4th of Upton Alley. The service was on pint with everything. I didnt know that they had a full service restaurant inside. Overall a win win. Would definetly go back. Reccomended for kids birthdays.
Nice bowling alley. Good food and drinks available. Moderate priced date or family night out. Lounge available for those who are not into bowling and need somewhere comfortable to hang out.
Just left and will never go back!! Manager refused to put up bumpers in our lane for my 10 year old because their "policy" is that bumpers are only allowed for ages 8 and younger. My kids are infrequent bowlers and have never attempted bowling without bumpers. They decided to give it a chance but after 8 straight gutter balls, it was obvious they were not enjoying their bowling experience. I noticed several older kids (at least age 12) bowling with bumpers a few lanes down from us. In fact, most of the lanes had bumpers up, and most of the kids looked between the ages of 10 and 14. I returned to the desk and explained to the manager that my kids were not enjoying their bowling experience and asked him to put up the bumpers in our lane. He refused and said that children over the age of 8 could break the bumpers because they threw the ball so hard. I pointed out all the older kids bowling with bumpers in most of the occupied lanes and he said that was because at least 1 member of their party was under 8, so bumpers were okay. I explained that my 10 year old was not enjoying watching his ball consistently go in the gutter while multiple teenagers a few lanes down celebrated "strikes" thrown in their bumpered lanes. Certainly the risk of breaking a bumper is far greater with a teen bowler than a 10 year old! The manager rudely refused to put up the bumpers, so I got a refund and left. Not a fun or kid-friendly place!
Amazing place!! I celebrated my son's birthday party here and we had an awesome time! Great good, nice lounge and they even had arcade games for him and his friends to play. The bowling lanes are BRAND new. A couple weeks ago we went to Uptown Alley and it was terrible. Long lines, bad service and the shef was urinating in the woods when we left. Night and day difference between the two. Have fun!!!
