I took my soon to be daughter in law last week for a spa pedicure. We had a wonderful time and the pedicure was perfect. The big copper tubs were fragrant with lemongrass and lavender. The hot towels were the perfect temperature and the pedicure turned out perfect. I would recommend this spa to anyone who desires great spa services in a relaxing atmosphere.
Im not sure why previous customers had such harsh comp ut my experience was great! I did a Groupon deal for $59 and it included a foot mask and hot stones. My therapist was very professional and courteous, applied just enough pressure. The room was very comfortable. I also liked how she massaged my feet. Some therapists act like they're scared to touch feet.
My husband bought me a massage using Travelzoo. The massage therapist was not at all friendly. She seemed as if she didn't want to be there. I asked her if she could work on my back, and she said, "This is not a therapeutic massage." She was very rude. Perhaps she had been having a bad day. Then I asked her about the stones, and she said she just used them for a couple of minutes at the end. When she put them on my back, they were so dang hot that I said ouch, can you cool those down first. She didn't say anything just slid them off my back. But she put them away and brought them back out again--and they were just as hot. Let me tell you, I have a high thresh-hold for pain, but these things left two red streaks on my back. Anyway, this might have been an isolated experience, but the massage therapist was so unfriendly that I figured that's just her personality. I won't go back. There is a much better place in McKinney, in Adriatica.
This spa prides itself on being safe and healthy but after a bad experience with a pedicure, I would not recommend it to anyone. I have had two previous experiences and while it was not a great pedicure, it was acceptable. However, the constant changing of staff has sent a red flag. Today's tech had probably done maybe one or two pedicures in her life, before mine, was inexperienced, left me bloody, didn't apologize and left me very painfully inconvenienced. The other red flag was when the owner had to do a pedicure for a walk-in and was barely civil to the client, running to answer the phone, chastising the woman about whether she went barefoot a lot due to her callouses, etc. Extremely uncomfortable situation for all to hear. I was appalled at the unprofessionalism at this spa and felt compelled to warn others. Be aware and Avoid!!!
I had my sister in law visiting from overseas, so I happened to catch a Groupon for massages. My wife and her both went, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I drive past this place all the time, and wouldn't have know about it if it weren't for the Groupon.
Ive been dying for a new spa to visit since recently moving into the area, and decided to try Zenity Spa. When first walking in, I was pleased with the atmosphere. I instantly noticed the lack of staff, even for a small "spa" like this, and no one was dressed for work. Maybe the mall. The manager herself was dressed very unprofessionally. Didnt give me the greatest expectation of my service. But I was very happy with my massage, except for the loud noises. That ruined my experience. But I must give them snaps for being attentive and the waiting room was cozy. But I think I'll spend my money on an actual spa who is little more serious about their business.
I drove in from Oklahoma for a spa day at Zenity, I must say the it was worth the drive. My experience was amazing. The staff was very attentive. My facial was the best part of my experience. I was very pleased with the results. I think her name was Cathy, she was very thorough and gave me advise on how to maintain my skin. I highly recommend this place. I was so relaxed and attended to :)
Bought a package on Groupon for them...took them a week to get back to me on an initial appointment, then when I couldn't make it and called to reschedule I got an v-mail.Haven't been able to contact them for weeks, they just ignore my request.L-A-M-EOh, love how they discredit legitimate complaints by saying "must be a competitor." Great tactic...NOT.That - or they blame it on a new/ex employee. Nice.
For my birthday, I was given a spa package including "sweet dreams" and a copper pot pedicure. About two hours before my scheduled start time, I received a call. The caller said "Connie?". I asked who was calling?. The zenity representative said "Oh, this is not a bill collector, I am from Zenity spa. Would you like to come early?". Wierd but nontheless, I went in early.Upon entering, I was greeted with an agitated tone of the manicurist, "What are you here for?"I said, "My name is Connie, I was called to come in early?"She pointed to the "resting" area. Although, how anyone can rest on those chairs, I do not have a clue. Asian inspired and beautiful! But not comfy. I filled out the forms and was led to a quiet room. Which was not very quiet. I could hear laughing and giggleing from the hallway.Soon the masseuse led me a room adjacent to the front doorway area. She did not ask the usual questions. Simply wanted to know if I smelled the lavender. The problems started about 5 min into the massage. Several teenage girls were laughing and giggling right outside the doorway. After 30 min, I finally opened my eyes. The masseuse asked if they were too loud. I said, very. She quietly left the room. But the laughter continued. Now, I am not against happiness and laughter. It is a beautiful sound. I love to giggle as much as the next person. But when I am getting a massage, I want quiet. The teenage party continued the majority of my massage. VERY IRRITATING.I left early and did not get the pedicure.I joked with the lady at the front desk as I was leaving that they sure did know how to throw a party. She did not laugh. She said "what party? I did not hear anything."I would not recommend this spa to anyone who wishes to have a quiet, calm and tranquil experience. Edit - DeleteAre you sure you want to delete this?
