I took my 6 yr old and her friend when we were out of school for Presidents a Day. The water was way to cold for me. I expected it to be much warmer since it was winter. Other indoor pools and parks that I have visited were warmer. The chill did not bother the girls. They played for hours. As I sat at the table watching the girls, i noticed my eyes and nose kept burning. I'm assuming it was the chemicals used in the water but they were def strong. Snack bar was ok. When we visited, the Subway was not very well stocked. They were out of most of the items we ask for and the sandwich was not good. I'm hoping in season, it will be better. We will give it another try over spring break.
After about an hour you have done it all and with no sun you can not get a tan. Good for kids more than anything, gets crowded fast.
The lazy river was a little chilly, the temp in the waterpark could have been a little warmer and the chlorine smell burned my eyes at times but we had a lot of fun! Overall, their was lots of fun activities and the lifeguards were friendly and attentive.
The water park is small enough that it makes it much easier to watch the kids then the larger water parks that we usually visit. Nice little snack area too. Also the parking is close by so it is convenient to unload your things. Nice place for a child's party.
Love going here epically since we can go year round. The place is very clean and very friendly staff. It's great that they are very affordable on their rates and I would tell anyone that's looking for great water fun to go here!!!
This water park is small but very cute. There are Four really good water slides that both kids and adults will enjoy. They also have a splash playground for younger kids and toddlers. The lazy river is nice and relaxing. Just a tip: don't get into the lazy river by sitting on your tube from a standing position on the deck. I totally flipped over! It was funny but not what I expected. : DThe water in the water park has lots of chlorine and the chlorine smell got to me after a while I'm not used to it. The water park tickets were free with my villages resort weekend pass so it was worth it to go. If one is child free I would not think it's worth it to go but the kids all loved it.
We were given free tickets but as we were all 50+ it wasn't for us.Watching the kids tho' they were having a good time. That was the main thing
The water park was fun as far as it went. There are great amenities for small children, but only four slides for adults. The lazy river and the wave pool did very little for me, but the kids liked it. It is pretty small and gets very congested.
The park was a nice size and wasn't packed but the slides could use a ton of l improvement and there were spiders and spider webs everywhere. It did it's job though , wearing my son out
price is reduced depending on group size, but the resort has 4 pool locations and they are very nice and FREE. the water park is priced very well.
A good, not great, indoor waterpark. I have a 15 year old and he had done everything he wanted to in about 4 hours. Someone gave us free passes so we went back another afternoon for another 4-5 hours anyway. I enjoyed the lazy river, and the wave pool (bench in the shallow end to sit on!). I also went down the tube slides 3 or 4 times. Didn't buy the food or anything. The price was almost $20 per person for a full day.
Too pricey for a family outing, not enough food selections or snacks for children and adults. Too far from the nearest shopping malls, restuarants and convience stores. Phone reception (sprint) is non-existant.
If you go, do not expect Great Wolf Lodge, this is a lot smaller but it's less expensive than a stay at GWL and you don't have to be a guest to go there. We are not Silverleaf members so don't think I have been sucked into their hype. Not once while we were there did anyone approach us about buying a membership or meeting a salesman and we stayed from 10am until 730 that evening. This is a small indoor waterpark that is great for a days visit if you live nearby or even within a couple hours. We had a 9 and 10 year old with us and they had a blast. My husband and I joined in and we had alot of fun too. We went during the summer on a Wednesday and while there was a decent crowd, it was not packed to the point of uncomfortable. The tube slides are good sized and, unlike GWL where you'll wait FOREVER to go down, the attendants kept the line moving so we didn't wait a long time for our turn to slide. There were a couple times we saw a child turned away because the attendant said they were too short but the parents had paid full price for them so be sure to bring it to the parks attention if this happens to you.The body slides were not busy at all so you could zip up and down those all you wanted. The kids area was not really equipped for toddlers but younger kids will have a good time. The Big Bucket takes a long time to fill and there was no warning sound so you just took a chance and waited if you wanted a good dunk. The lazy river was nice, a couple spots you'd zip along pretty fast before you knew it. The wave pool is quite small and the waves can get a rough if you're not watching but it's good for lounging in the shallows during the calm time. There was a nice outdoor sitting area adjacent to the kids area but it was raining when we went so we just sat inside. My biggest complaint is the bathroom. 300 lockers in the ladies, no changing stalls, 4 bathroom stalls and 2 shower stalls, one of which was out of order. Take out some of the lockers and add a few more showers and some changing stalls and another couple of bathroom stalls. A swimsuit wringer would be nice too. Overall this is a nice family outing. Already making plans to return this fall during a school break.
Good waterpark for a reasonable price ($12 after 4pm for silverleaf owners). Slides are fun for the younger crowd. We spent a nice afternoon here while staying at the villages. The pizza in the snack area is made to order and actually fairly good, especially for $10 for a medium.
It was great for what it is. It is small, but there was enough for the kids to do. We sat at the table and could watch the kids everywhere they went. The had a lot of slides for the kids and they were perfect for them. They had a blast in the water play area, the lazy river, small wave pool and the big slides. You don't go to a place like this for adults, we go there for the kids. This made their vacation! Definitely do it. We have a 6 year old and an 8 year old. They have lifeguards all over the place and they were helpful and courteous. The food court was great. We all ate lunch for all 4 of us and had drinks for $18. They have a subway shop and a pizza place right there and it was priced very reasonable.
