We toured with George's tours and all the wines were surprisingly great. We bought 2 cases shipped home for free. Mary was sooo knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful place.

We got to meet one of the owners and take pictures with him in their cute photo frame with the hill country in the background! Myfavorite part was the white barrel out front for lip stick kissing! Also a dog friendly atmosphere!

Great relaxing visit to William & Chris. Excellent wines and ambiance. We sat under the Oak grove and listened to a local artist sing. Great day.

So happy we stopped in. First timers. Go for the outside tasting. The cheese tray is a must try. Yummy. The wines were good too.

Just returned from 2+ days of visiting Texas Hills Country wineries; this was definitely the best stop of the trip. The server was friendly and helpful; tasting room overlooked some great scenery; and the wines were very great. We walked out with 3 bottles; wished we bought more!

Met Chris. Awesome story and great wines. pretty setting. Like the way they do things there with the process. He stated they are looking at adding pond for reclaiming water used in process, becoming helping with the environment. His Chesapeake Bay retriever was cool and came sat with me for a good while.

We visited this venue on our last trip to Fredericksburg. The staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed the tasting room and then enjoyed a glass of wine out on the patio. It is a great place for a leisurely afternoon.

The weather was bad that day so we practically had the winery to ourselves, it was great! There was also a very nice lady who did our tasting. Their sparkling Rose is a must try!

We were so pleasantly surprised about the William Chris winery and their wines. Being from the California wine country we have developed a distinct palette for fine wines and expect wineries to show off the best of their production. William Chris disappoint! We were served one of their best Cabernet Sauvignons from their high plains production, Lepard Winery. We will definitely return, and quite possibly have some more of this wine shipped to us in California. If you like wines, go here.

We had a great time here. Everyone was very nice and the guy that helped us with our tasting was very knowledgeable. Not to mention the nice gentleman that met us at our limo ;) great time. Very nice winery

We went to this winery as part of our wine tour. I enjoyed it they accomedade us as best as they can. we were outside under a cute roof. We took a walk out to the vineyards and even listend to somelive music. great time overall, not one of my favoirtes i like sweeter wine. I will def go back again when we have more time.

This is a full winery experience! Good wine, good snacks, good music, wonderful folks!! The owners are very approachable & knowledgable about all aspects of wineries!!

Great winery! Wines are so good, and the tasting area and restaurant are awesome. I have been to several wineries in the area, and this one is the best.

We are members of both William Chris and GrapeCreek, as we think their wines are the best in that whole area. People looking for "pure Cabs" as one of the reviewers mentioned, don't belong here. The Texas climate is terrible for "pure" cab, pinot noir, chardonnay, etc. Some wineries like Fall Creek and Becker do squeeze out some of those, but compared to a Napa, they are nowhere close. Texas is much more suited for grapes originating in Italy (sangiovese) or Spain (temparnillo), plus the "lesser" grapes which are typically blended. Both WC and GC do a good job of making very unique blends - making the best of what grows best in their climate. We plan our vacations around wine to places like Napa, Bordeaux, Tuscany, Rioja, etc.and compared to those places, only give the best hill country winery 4 instead of 5 stars.

William Chris is our favorite Texas Winery. The tasting room is spacious. Their wines are excellent especially their reds. We are wine club members and were treated to VIP service while picking up our shipment on a weekday. We enjoyed a private tasting of about ten of their wines in a room upstairs from the main tasting room.
