Took my sons there for a break. They are gamers, not physically active in the least. They had a blast! I had a blast taking videos of them falling on their faces! They have great places for parents to sit and watch or go next door to grab a bite! Will do again!

road is under construction, water is pretty silty. restaurant is pricey, kids skateboard all around the sidewalks and even inside the showroom

I signed up my two kids for an afternoon camp to learn how to wakeboard. Out of all the camps they did this summer, this "camp" did not offer a camp experience. The staff was unorganized, some of the staff liked working with the kids, but most did not. The first day, my kids got to ride 2 times in an 2 1/2 hr time period. There was too many kids signed up and not enough instruction. They sat in the sun, more than getting to have fun. Once a kid from the camp was able to get up on the board and ride, the instructor would send them to the main line or big pond and that child didn't receive anymore instructor. Most of the time when the kids got over to the main pond, they would fall immediately, because the pull is so much different than the pull on the beginner cables. The rest of the week is a joke. The 2nd day, the staff didn't even have anyone to run the camp. So we waited 20 mins. In the sun for someone to figure that out. Then the 3rd day there was an awesome instructor at the small pond, but by now most of the "camp kids " were gone. the fourth day, they didn't have an instructor for the camp because there was a birthday party. So we waited again for an instructor and when they found one, my child was just getting ready to go, when a group of 6 kids/ adults came to learn how to wakeboard. These were not apart of the camp. My kid was stuck waiting again for 30 plus minutes to ride because they were instructing new people who weren't even apart of the camp. I stayed at hydrous during the camp, but most parents just dropped their kids off and no one from the hydrous staff were even watching them or keeping the camp kids together. It was a mess!

Best Birthday Party EVER, according to my 12 yo.My family just moved from Chicago and has no water sport exp. The staff was great, Chase was very patient with the kiddos. We have already bought a punch card pass and will be coming back!

My boys have been enjoying Hydrous the past two summers. I would highly recommend this as a place for your kids to have some fun. If they are beginners to wake boarding, they will start off in the beginner area and have someone work with them to get them started in the main area. Note the beginner area is for all ages, so no need to be embarrassed if you are an adult starting. The main cable area is a lot of fun filled with jumps and ramps for the more skilled wakeboarder. Safety is the main concern for the staff. They make sure everyone has their helmets, life jackets, and following all safety rules. Then for the fun! If you need equipment, you are able to get there. Victor is the owner and is very easy and nice to work with as well should you be interested in having a party there. My boys also did the week long camp and had a blast! It's also nice because you can bring your own drinks and snacks! They get very hungry so come prepared. If you are interested, there is a new restaurant on site that has burgers etc. It's very good. We love Hydrous and I would highly recommend.

My boys took a week of 3 hour wake boarding lessons here at the park. The boys were both up and wake boarding within a few days and couldn't wait to go back. They are both 14 years old. There were boys and girls much younger in the class did well also.The restaurant next-door is a great place to wait. They made it very comfortable especially in the heat, to wait through the kids lessons. It will be wonderful once the construction on El Dorado is finished.

Here is somewhere to bring kids 10-15 years old. Through a system of overhead wires and conveyors, they can simulate water skiing in a safe, fun environment. The man made lake is small so that you can keep an eye on them while there is a smaller pond next to it for yound children. It has recently opened and I imagine that it will become busier as the summer approaches.
