million barrel museum - giant oil tank

Stopped here when passing through Monohans. The lady that oversees the museum is super nice, and knows the information well. If you're on a long road trip, it's a great place to get out and stretch your legs and learn a few interesting things. Doesn't require more than 30 minutes of your time, unless you want it to

We visited here expecting to see a big concrete reservoir, take some photos, and drive on. But, to our surprise, a very hospitable lady came out and gave us an hour tour of much more than just the reservoir. There's a building with great old collectible, a fantastic remodeling 1920s home (which was the highlight for my wife), two railroad cars, the best Coca-Cola collectibles we've ever see, and so much more. Definitely worth a trip to visit.

It was kinda funny to know that people actually thought they could hold oil in this. We had a nice little man give us a tour & tell us all the history. They also have a breeding paur of owls that live in the trees, got to see the male. Beautiful bird.

nice place,many people came here to relax because near the beach..but it takes approximately 2 hrs drive from the airport of bandar seri begawan
