Just kidding...just part of a sign along this beautiful walkway which will soon be developed to rival the "early days" of the San Antonio Riverwalk before it became so cluttered with tourists.

Courthouse very attactive could be Art Deco style, lots of interesting old store fronts with dates to the late 1800's. But the one house you should not miss is called the Doll's House built by a family for the little girl they adopted from the orphan train,

Nothing impressive. Some old bldgs and a little history. The greens not bad. Typical small town. They did recently film there for the TV show Revolution.

If you're looking for a small-town atmosphere to move to, yet be close to Alamo City then Seguin is for you

Interesting early and mid-century small town architecture. Reminds me of the 1950's. Interesting fine old houses, some well-kept.

The park area and fountain are lovely and there is a beautiful statue. Historic St. Andrews church flanks one corner and St. James is a block away. A variety of nice shops are on on the square. Gift and Gourmet had nice selection of fine gift items, kitchenware, and baby stuff. This trip I visited the cupcake shop on Austin street across from Vogue shoes. It was a really nice place for tea or coffee and getting out of the Texas summer heat. We really loved the Italian cream cupcake. Dog lovers will want to visit Thunder Paws.they had a really great selection of unique dog stuff.

keep the "downtown" viable. The courthouse features the world's largest [concrete] pecan. On Saturday mornings, there is a real Farmer's Market with fresh, home-grown produce. The shops surrounding the square are feature a wide variety of merchandise. The Central Park is green and well kept.

My husband, a friend and I enjoyed a short visit in downtown Sequin. There is a beautiful fountain and typical old town downtown. It is clean and not run down. Max Starcke Park is just a few miles to the south and has nice picnic areas with views of the Guadalupe River.

The town square in Seguin is worth taking a trip to view. Several shops open arounds the square and lots of shoppers at Christmas time. There has been a good attempt to keep the downtown area alive and functioning and those are elements that are missing in some many small towns these days.Just a short distance off the interstate.

Downtown Seguin is beautiful. The town builds itself around Central Park. Within a small area, downtown is the place to "walk" ! Everything is nearby & accessilble. Great local shops, easy going places to eat, incredible churhes to visit, especially, St. Andrew's old chapel. Great local bars for a drink & a bite to eat. Small local museums, art shops, small local businesses. Truley a town where everybody knows you. The old buildings are simply beautiful and historic, something Seguin residents are very proud of. Downtown Seguin offers many historic places to stay. Old mighty mansions that are now B&B's...my most favorite, the Mosheim Mansion. The hosts are loving & caring people, the home,a walk back in time.........simply beautiful..........downtown Seguin has it all !

Like so many downtown areas, this one is in revival mode. There are several small unique shops that one can walk to. I wish the Native American store had been open as looking through the window there are a lot of very beautiful original pieces I would have like to purchase. The local sports bar was a good place to stop for a quick refresher and the people, help and patrons were very friendly.
