boysen state park

This park is like an oasis in a desert. Located at the edge of Wind River Canyon, it has a large reservoir that can accommodate boating, fishing and all kinds of other water-based activities. The beautiful shimmering blue color of the water is really striking against the rolling hills of central Wyoming and there are several great vantage points from the highway to get some nice pictures. Camping is also available in the park. Boysen State Park is a highlight if you're traveling in the Shoshoni area.
