People always confuse the two towns. One is right near PA and the other almost in the Atlantic! Make sure you are looking at the right town!

I've never had a bad night at Asbury Lanes. I've seen so many great bands and the staff is great. Manager Juicy Jenn makes everyone feel at home and is great to work with if you're having an event. The room is like a time machine back to the early 60's, although the new owners have done a few things to strip away the old vibe, it's still a great place. We had my wife's birthday there a few years ago and Bruce Springsteen showed up and hung out with all of us for over two hours. Ticket and drink prices are reasonable and nobody hassles you. One of the last great rock clubs.

rumour has it, this could be last year for the Lanes. If it is , what a tragedy. Great place to see bands with the stage in the middle of the lanes. Good snacks and really nice people running it. It's not retro, it's just hasn't been redecorated since the 70's. yeah everybody wants to see the Pony and the Wonder Bar but this is THE place to go.

We were in NJ and finally had the opportunity to make it to Asbury Lanes! I have been trying to make a show there for a while, but things never worked out til the other day. We were nearby and saw that Kepi Ghoulie was there with Kevin and Alyson Seconds, Mikey Erg opening up. The people working there were very nice and friendly, no attitude at all. The sound was great, props to the sound man, he was funny and a great host. Will be back again!

The website makes this place seem like the place to be. We went for a friends bday paid for a cover to find out the bowling alley is old and you keep score by hand, the bands were not very good and the lanes were old. Website is very misleading do not waste your time.

go bowl, see the artwork, even buy it, have DRINK, and listen to up and coming bands; move over Stone Pony.

Great live music center stage. Snacks and a light show. Fun for the faithful. A little dark. Bring your IPhone Flashlight app but turn off the sound.

Somewhere in the middle of Asbury Park lies a little place called the Asbury Lanes. It's a fully functional Bowling Alley as well as a Bar and a place to see some great bands play. There's a stage setup in the middle of the lanes where many great local & touring acts will put on unbelievable shows. The layout is perfect so that no matter where you are you can be up close & personal to the entertainment going on. On top of the great atmosphere is an awesome little Snack Bar where you can order Tater Tots & other snacks. Some nights they will set up the projector & have movie screenings as well. This place is probably one of the most fun places to hang out in Jersey. I recommend that everyone check out their schedule!
