Cranberry is a very sleepy little town this is one of the only things to do there other than eat its proximity to the Princeton area makes it worth the trip over ,but if you live more than a half an hour away I would skip it. cranberry missed again another opportunity by having this museum only open on Sunday . Also very close to Haru, very cute jewelry shop again weird hours call before you go.

This charming house is tucked into a little side street in Cranbury, NJ. The original part of the house was built in 1834 and boasts a huge walk-in fireplace and wide-plank, pine floors. Furnishings and decorations are of the appropriate period. Interestingly, each part of the house is preserved and decorated in the fashion of the time it was built. I felt as if I was walking through room-sized time capsules from different ages! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She explained about many items in each room and told how they were used back then. There is a large room on the back of the house which holds temporary exhibitions too. One is free to wander here without a guide. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. We found free parking on the street in front of the house. Good for families, but young children may find it boring.
