If you have never gone to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, I think you should because once you do, you will never forget One reason is because it is fun.I think Hurricane Harbor is fun for many reasons. For instance, the lazy river is really fun because you can go without a tube because it is so shallow. You can have fun drifting with the flow and you can just relax as a break or you can just start the fun!Another thing about lazy rivers is that they are great to start with. For example, if you just came in, you would probably start by the lazy river. You should because they are great starters. Also, Hurricane Harbor has a wave pool.A wave pool is really fun because at first it is like a regular pool of water. Then, a sound comes and waves come! You can jump over the waves like at a beach! The wave pool is also perfect for ending your fun at Hurricane Harbor. Another reason is because Hurricane Harbor has a lot of fun rides. One of those is the King Cobra. You will probably see it on your way to other rides. It isn’t that big but it is cool.It starts off like a regular slide but then the slide opens up and you start rocking back and forth from the the snake and away from the snake. It is like you are on a half pipe. The snake also looks cool with its snake like face and the water spurting out of its fangs and the snake like skin on the slide.Another fun slide is where you get on a mat like at a carnival and you slide down face first getting sprayed as you do. It is a really fun ride. There are two more slides I want to tell you about. They are two big slides that you can go on with three to four people with a huge tube that is covered on the bottom. One of the slides is orange and one is red.I would recommend the red one because it is more fun because on the turns you go almost upside down! I come to my conclusion, I think you should go to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor!By: Student from room 207
we rented a cabana because friends were coming from Maryland, what a deal fro the money ,safe nice chairs , drinks, food served to you and nice location.
Like every other theme park this place can get crowded. That is my biggest problem. On the upside, I like it here. Its always very clean and there are a lot of fun rides. We usually bring food and eat lunch in the car.We only go in seasons that we buy passes because otherwise it could be a waste. We prefer to be able to go many times for short visits. That makes it easier to deal with.
We had lot of fun. My 3 year kid enjoyed lot. They have activities for all ages. Food is expensive. Like other place try to go in the morning if you want to go on rides. It is getting crowded. Waiting for reopen.
My kids and I used to go to this water park when they were younger; they had a blast on all the rides and it would really drain the energy right out of 'em ... they'd usually fall asleep on the way home! Here's a good tip: bring lots of your own snacks/food; the food, like at most amusement and water parks, is a fortune.
It is one of the greatest water parks I've been to. The rides are thrilling and fun, but the amount of waiting time is a bit too much. Besides that everything else is great and fun. Highly Recommend it.
While the idea of the place is great, and the rides (when you finally get on them) are fun this place is an absolute zoo. The patrons are rude, there is an outrageous cost associated with everything (above the cost of parking and entry). Perhaps if they limited the number of guests I would like it more. Not sure what makes me hotter - the very long waits or the excessive charges for food, lockers, tubes, or legalized line cutting (fast pass).
This is a fun time if you can get there at opening time as the more popular rides have exceedingly long waits as the day progresses. I would not want to spend an entire day as the rides are enjoyable when you don't have to wait, but not worth it later on when the place gets packed. Be aware that the height enforcement can vary throughout the park.
The water park at Six Flags in Jackson, NJ is one of the best water parks we have been too. Price is a little bit costly especially when you have more kids! But you can save on season pass if you think you can visit the park at least twice. Food inside is pricey too! Clean park and staff are friendly.
Great for all ages, lots of fun stuff to do!! my kids had a blast, we can't wait to go again -too bad summer is over :(
People.. if you like 6 flags and HH ..you should get in their email list. why to pay an entrance per day of $40 and pay parking per day of $25 when you can buy a SEASON PASS for only $62 per the whole season Unlimites entrance to both parks and free parking! ????? Also you can add DINING PASS for only $ 85 per the whole season (lunch and dinner!) every time you go to the park! if you arrive before 3pm you have lunch and dinner ..if you arrive after 3pm then you only have dinner from 4pm to 7pm ...lunch is 11:30 am to 3pm. This is an awesome park! yes the management in the entrance of the park SUCKS! they need new managers who knows hot to keep the lines moving!. the management of HH and 6 flags stand around the workers and do nothing meanhwile they are lines of 100 people waitng to get in with kids.. NO special entrance for kids/adults with special needs. This need to be fix ASAP! also parents with small kids and stroller need a special entrance too. Other than that..they are awesome!
Highly unhygenic..there were flies in our popcorn..the park employees were extremely rude..and they closedthe park midway saying that the weather was bad and when we asked for a refund they said that we shouldnt have bought the tickets and it was out fault that we did not check the weather..y were they selling tickets in first place if the weather was going to be bad and they knew abt it??? Just to get money from people..i will never recommend this park to anyone.
What a wonderful, family day at the water park! We all enjoyed ourselves... My teens loved the wedge slides and my mom enjoyed the lazy river and the wave pool. And I had a great time just laying in the sun.. The park lines were not too long and the park overall was clean and the people were friendly...
After reading the reviews, we didn't have very high expectations - but we were so pleasantly surprised by our visit!!! First, we have season passes that include Hurricane Harbor and the parking fee. We had them last year too - but never went. This year we promised ourselves we would go - but still, we didn't make our first visit to Hurricane Harbor until Sept 3rd !!! Expecting it to be very crowded, with long lines - the first thing we did was rent a Cabana. In hindsight - we didn't need it. The place was empty - ALL DAY. To say that we had a wonderful day was an understatement. Yes, we regret dropping $160 on a Cabana we didn't need........ but that was our fault. Anyway, the park was nicer then we expected. The wave pool, lazy river and all the water slides were so much fun! The kids area was great for our youngest who 'just' missed the height requirements on most of the BIG slides she wanted to go on. But the kids area had 4 pretty big slides that were great!!! We felt sorry for her b/c she is old enough to go on the big slides, just a little small for her age. She didn't even come up an inch short but the ride attendants would not budge, not even if she went with her father.Since we rented the Cabana it included lunch which was delivered to us exactly on time. The Cabana staff were helpful and great to deal with! I am definitely afraid to go on a crowded day - but for those who are lucky enough to be there when you can enjoy everything, it will be an amazing day for your family!!! Parking is also included with our Season Pass, so we didn't have to spend any money on that either. For people worried about the cost of Six Flags - please get a Season Pass deal! No parking fees, free upgrade to Gold - all for $61.99 if you buy them at the right time. Its totally worth it!!!!!
We took our 6 year old there on a Monday in August hoping to avoid crowds. And it worked, the park was not crowded yet the wait time for rides was extremely long. On some rides we waited on a long line only to be measured right before getting on the ride and not meeting the height requirement. Signage for some of the rides, ie where to get a tube for a specific ride, was non existent, again waiting on a line only to be told we were on the wrong line. Most workers were quite young and didn't seem excited to have a summer job. Overall it was an ok day as my son ended up spending most of the day in the wave pool, but we would not go back. Will try another water park next time.
