I come often to walk my dogs, Deers and birds and lots of trees, a lake I don't use the dog park because too many dog owner don't follow the rules. They bring unfixed dogs and fights break out not only with the dogs but also with the dog owners

Thompson Park In the fall. Great colors and walking/biking pathes. Not over crowded .. nice lakes and activities are available for all ages, Tennis, Soccer, Canoes... Or just chill.

The joys of this park are so varied it is hard to describe. There are many trails, a lake for fishing, a dog park, activities of all kinds, great bike paths and playground. This glorious old estate and once working farm and thoroughbred horse breeding concern is now available for you to enjoy. Grounds are meticulously kept, park staff is available and helpful. There are lectures, musicians, and access to a history that so many people forgot belongs to New Jersey. Each time we go, and we go there at least four times a week we are always awed at the absolute beauty of this place.

Thompson has to be the biggest park in Monmouth County and we def haven't taken advantage of all it has to offer. Huge and spread out with lots of parking. We've taken our kayaks out on the lake a couple of times and this weekend we rented XC skis from the ski hut. Really good equipment and the staff was great.

Great little park. Good paved and unpaved trails. Dog park is just a big open field, but there are almost always a couple of dogs around.

One of our favorite places to walk. Great trails whether you like the back woods or paved paths. Beautiful lake.
