2nd year I have attended this event good food, music and wine.I would recommend stopping in any time. The winery has events through out the year - I have not been disappointed

We attended a wedding at Laurita Winery and it was really fabulous. The decor is great and the event lit up at night was gorgeous! Loved the Branches catering and bartenders were efficient. The venue lends to a really cool wedding experience. Having been to Napa the grounds and venue really do compete! We just had such a great time and it was a unique and fun wedding.

When folks think of wineries they often think cellar tours and wine tastings. Laurira Winery is more. A green facility, it opened a few years ago and seems to be doing very well, probably due too all the activities they have there. I always hear nothing but good things from friends that have attended their events. And my young family and I have been very happy over the years attending Breakfast with Santa, Valentine's day brunch, summer movies on the lawn, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, ladies night out...to name a few. They also have weekend events, like this past weekend's Ice Sculptures. Fireworks while it was snowing...so cool. My only negative comments are sometimes the weekend events are too crowded and their brunches are now priced out of our budget. Their web site is good, the people are friendly, and the grounds are beautiful. I'm not a wine drinker so I can't really comment on that aspect!

Laurita did an excellent job with their ice sculpture event. They had heaters through out the place. Ice exhibits including a cool fire truck and igloo. Food trucks - who doesn't love that and of course the all popular polar bar! Sangria was good too!!!!

A special place in what could be considered (I say this only with the best intentions) the middle of no where!!

I really love this place. they are pricey but they are trying to make money. I understand that. I however hate riding on shuddle buses and unless you pay for club membership have to take one this weekend. I do not like being told, after I make the journey there, that you have no choice So I left. they should have at least mentioned this on their website, they mention everything else

This venue is absolutely gorgeous. We have visited a couple of events and found it to be well organized and for the most part the employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We opted for one of the barrel tasting tours and found that this is not a large corporate entity but rather a two family owned business and it is named after the mothers of the two owners, Laura and Rita, hence Laurita! We actually met the one owner and his wife who are very much hands on at the festivals. They were helping out behind the outside bar! So nice to see owners that are still so invested in their business and being there to help! As far as the Rock the BBQ, after rechecking information and as advertised this was not a Laurita Winery event. The event was held by production/promo company and they leased the adjoining property located behind the Bed and Breakfast and the Equestrian Center. Shame on them for not advertising correctly and leading people to believe it was a winery event. With that being said, we found all other events to be exceptional at the winery and will continue to frequent them. The best part is that they are so family oriented that there is events and activities for all ages so you can bring the entire family! Keep up the great work Laurita. We love you!

This place is a diamond in the rough. The grounds are eye candy, the drive to the winery is a treat and the wine isn't too bad either. Go there for a drink, activity or just to enjoy the vineyards. I have been to weddings, events, birthday parties and simple gatherings and always have a blast! The best experience is when Canvas Mixers has a painting session. I prefer the chocolate wine. They have a little boutique and a place to get fancy cheese and food.

What a beautiful winery! Bring a lunch, or I think they might have sandwiches there, & sit out at one of their tables & just enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the grape fields before you!

A bit if Napa comes to NJ. I grew my kids in this town, moved to California, came back, and this place was there on the old Stanley Dancer property. Wow. Worth a visit, or two, or three.

We went to a few wine festivals this season. By far, this was the best. I highly recommend the mason jar of sangria. My girlfriend is a dry, red wine drinker and I am a sweet, white wine drinker and were both happy with the selections. Music was good, but quality varied by bands. Choose the food trucks carefully. We sampled from a variety. Some were fantastic and others were less than stellar. The staff were some of the nicest and friendliest of the season. Will return next season. Length of day can vary but give at least 2 hours. Earlier to start is better since it does become crowded later in the day. It was early Fall so it does get chilly but if you get a good spot by a pit it won't matter.

Went as a group for the festival which was the food trucks, wine tasting, tour, and it was awesome. The grounds are amazing. Just beautiful and rustic. The wine was really good. We did the tasting and the Barcelona Red was really tasty. We hit the trucks and had the fries, ribs, cheese curds, pork belly, sprinkled bread and we were psyched because it was delicious and gourmet. The atmosphere was cool: music playing, fire pits, and all the warm drinks and food you could drink. A great day!

I visited Laurita Winery for the fist time in the Spring of 2014. The grounds are lovely and relaxing to stroll and enjoy the views and fresh air. However, beyond the sweeping views, the fee's and entry price (it was a special event weekend, although most of the venue was rained out) took away from the entire experience. With so many other options, why would you ever choose to return? I would rather support a local independent winery, not this one which is part of a large corporate entity. We were hoping to enjoy the many food options, but when the rain came, most vendors packed up and there was no effort to move anything towards the main building. Visitors were left with horribly limited options, one of which was a $17 cheese platter. I figured, okay, at that price, we would receive a nice selection of cheeses and accompaniments, but instead, we got a plastic container (so much for all their "green efforts") with a dismal selection of 3 cheeses, a few generic crackers and some Welch's grape jelly in another small plastic cup. To add insult to injury, the person serving it seemed annoyed that she had to even wait on people. At best, it was worth about $5. Ironically, some of the support staff (i.e. the shuttle bus drivers) were the nicest staff we encountered!Inside the winery, we did sample the wines - the fee was somewhat reasonable ($7 for 6 wine tastings I believe) but with no option to credit that back towards a wine purchase. The wines themselves were nothing worth buying anyhow, so that wasn't a concern.Aside from the stunning grounds and lawn, the winery itself is tremendously overrated! I would not recommend or return.

Absolutely beautiful winery. The scenery is gorgeous and the main building and grounds are very impressive. We attended a festival there in late summer, where they had live entertainment and food trucks. Was pricey, but overall, a lovely day. I recommend their Sangria.
