point pleasant beach

I really enjoyed visiting Point Pleasant Beach in New Jersey, even though I visited in the colder months when there was snow on the beach. It is a big beach with a path for bicycles and cottages behind that. There is lots of space and you get a good view of the whole beach!

Great town to visit lots to do in the summer . Ya can t get bored down there . . Clubs , bars , they re down there . Different shops & so forth . Lots to do in town in the nicer weather .

We normally park our lounge chairs by Jenks so we can here there music and they are great about using there rest room... just order something beats the public rr

Great place to retire if you love the beach, great place to raise your kids. Nice area for all to enjoy.

Good sand, clean beach, parking can be expensive so park around the lake, where there are no meters. Fun Boardwalk with rides and games for all ages. Good restaurants in town. Something for everyone.

Police officer gave me ticket was not aa happy camper first ticket I ever had in 50 years. Other then that hotel was great .

We took a chance and attended this festival. It was very crowded but worth it. Great food- Just get yourself to the area early and by mid afternoon - head to the beach! The band The Funktion was so amazing- had the crowd going early on. Normally this and other festivals have the local same olds same olds to be honest. This group blew the roof off and one of the best we have ever seen! Hope they are back there and around the area.. the shore needs them!! Alison

The beach and its boardwalk have come back strong after Superstorm Sandy! The place is better than ever!

Great NJ beach - recommend as a family or as a trip with friends. Nice restaurants in the area, easy parking.

The annual seafood festival starts early, so the parking is a problem if you arrive late. It is nice to see the individual stands with a variety of sea food for sale. I settled for the sea food fest combo which includes a Maine lobster tail, snow crab cluster and six shrimp plus cole slaw for $15. If you never been here you must try to. Oh yes other venders are there with their handy crafts which Re quite iriginal

After Labor Day at the Jersey Shore you can expect nearly deserted boardwalks, closed souvenir shops and gated amusement rides. There are few people and a chill in the air. Of course, some of us think this is the best time of year at the shore. There are fewer people and it is still warm enough most of the day to enjoy the beach.Good for a few weeks only!!!

Hi, My wife and I went to the beach on the Saturday before Labor Day, 2014.* Parking - $30.00 * access to beach - $19.00 ($9.50 each)* cheese steak sandwich and chicken wrap - $27.00Ok, we get it. It can be expensive at the Jersey Shore.BUT, what really bothered me was the inside condition of the woman's and men's bathrooms on Arnold Ave.Not even a mirror to comb hair in the woman's room. Could have been cleaner. Nothing to dry your hands. Such a health hazard my wife said.The men's room had graffiti all over the stalls, 2 urinals had bags on them (not working), sink faucet was loose and broken, one twist lever faucet that you have to keep on while washing your other hand (you know the kind).In this day and age, auto on/off faucets are mainstream. There was no paper towels, and the germ spreading hand dryer was broken. The floor was very dirty, scummy. Spending $9.50 to use the beach and to have to use the bathrooms that Point Pleasant town supplies to you is UNACCEPTABLE, DISGUSTING, AND SAD! We will not go to Point Pleasant again. We will spend our money elsewhere.

Beach is cool. Great boardwalk with lots of activities and places to eat and drink. There was a mini golf place too

Wow, 20 bucks for parking! Beach was huge and wide. Great boardwalk with lots of acitivities and places to eat and drink. There was a mini golf place too, Lots of cops patrolling so we felt very safe.
