Since I adore animals of all kinds, decided to stop at Friendly Farm while in the area. Such a pretty, relaxing atmosphere; it was like walking through a pasture surrounded by goats, barnyard fowl of all kinds, and sheep... all friendly and quite at ease with the multitude of children petting and hugging them. The poultry house had some chicks not more than 2 hours old, tiny things warming their new feathers under a heat lamp. In the rabbit house there was a batch of new babies; 3 week old bunnies - so sweet and cuddly! The entire farm is well kept, clean, and the animals are obviously well cared for. Bought some nice items in the gift shop and, in all, had an enjoyable day.

Visited with family that had a small child (5 years) great place for kids to see and touch animals. Goats a little aggressive when being fed so keep an eye on them.

Really enjoyed this farm with kids ages 1-19yrs. Yes 19! I think she had the most fun. Lol. Very well taken care of animals. Goats, cows, horses, chickens, ducks, llama, baby cows, pig, sheep and more. The kids got to hold bunnies and feed them. Goats were eating out of their hands and they even got to bottle feed a goat. All sorts of fun farm animals just being free and friendly. Pack a lunch and spend a couple of hrs.

I got to feed a baby cow. I got to hold a baby chick. I got to sit with goats and feed them. We got to take a nice walk out to where the pigs and Llamas live. We walked through the sheep pasture and hand fed them. This is truly a hand-on experience. The people are friendly and accommodating. They will bring your child a bottle for feeding the baby goats. It's really fun to watch the chickens chasing around and there's a building where you can sit with the bunnies. It's one of my favorite places. Bring money to buy the bags of food. Then entrance fee is minimal and there's a discount for seniors.
