The Main Street Makery is not your average craft store. It's a lot more. It is a great new place to stop by and have fun making a craft for $5.00 or take a workshop class. Crafters are also invited to stop by with their work and hang out. Additionally, The Makery can host a birthday party centered around making something that may also include pizza and/or birthday cupcakes for as little as $10.00 per person. The Makery also sells locally-made gifts and jewelry. During my visit, a jewelry crafter was showing her creatively-styled pierced earrings to one of the Makery’s representatives. I hoped that her wares were accepted because I liked everything of hers I saw. I also browsed the work of others. There were a lot of nice things including necklaces, earrings, and decorative items for the home. Also, a mother and daughter were making the felt animal craft of the week. Both were coming out nicely. One can enter from the street level in the front or up a flight of stairs from the parking lot out back.
