If you are in Newport, NH or near the Lake Sunapee area looking for something to do, Stop by. Very nice history of the town with exhibits, and a lot of old family records. Displays include a colonial kitchen, a representational one room school house, a gallery of fine oil paintings by Andre Champollion, a colonial bedroom and our ‘Newport Room’. They change the displays twice a year. Very friendly people willing to show you around. Open Sundays 10:00am to 2:00 pm throughout the year or by appointment. It's worth a stop.
