hormel foods first century museum

Stopped by at the suggestion of a friend. Not that we're big SPAM eaters but it sounded like something different to see. The museum is free, is very well kept, and full of facts about SPAM. How did I live without this knowledge for so long? Anyway, it's a short stop, with a great local success story. This is America at its best. Worth stopping. As of the middle of September 2014, the museum will be closed due to relocation. It will reopen in 2016. Check their website for more info.

Just a great fun place to visit. The history of Spam is really very interesting. The displays of WWII and that era are well done.

Very well presented history of SPAM and Hormel. Upscale FREE museum, with plenty of interaction possibilities for the kids. The store at the end of the tour has every SPAM related trinket you can imagine. The visit was well worth the time.
