woody's bar and grill

My daughter and I stopped in here after swimming at the St. Croix River beach at Lakeside Park. I expected a bar and grill and was surprised to see that there was also an 8 lane bowling alley inside. It's a pretty cool combination and helps to create a fun atmosphere. I ordered the Woody's Wimpys which is their version of sliders. For $8 I got six cheeseburger sliders (for $1 each you can add other toppings including onions, buffalo sauce, hot chicago style peppers etc.). The sliders were bigger than expected. The buns were the size of what you buy at the grocery store and the tops of the buns were grilled, which provided a nice crunch to each bite. I really enjoyed them and it was a great value for $8, I could only eat 4.My daughter ordered the 12 inch garlic pizza fries with marinara sauce for $10. They too were very, very good. Also, it looks like they have some specials at certain times during the week. I'd definitely go back.
