We have wanted to try fly fishing for years, and Doug Harthan was the perfect teacher. We did some land training at his house with a large yard and then tried our luck on his bass boat on the nearby lake. Doug was patient and well versed on flies and lines. We learned several techniques and Doug helped us to improve our casting during the day. He made sure we caught a few fish and enjoyed the experience.
