My family and I always enjoy a stroll through these gardens. It is a perfect place to soak in the colors of summer in such manicured beauty. Great place for pics of the kids too!
Peaceful and relaxing place. Don't miss it if you have the opportunity. We loved it. Would go back again and again.
Fountains and flowers...a beautiful sculpture of Mr. Clemons and Mrs. Clemons in her wheelchair.....from what I remember Mr. Clemons created these gardens so his homebound wife would have something beautiful to look at out her window from their home across Kilian BLVD......a true love story....
Weekend trip to St. Cloud. Took time to visit the Clemens Gardens and so glad I did! Just beautiful! Plenty of street parking. Leisurely stroll thought the garden, statues and fountains. Views of the Mississippi, and a great gift shop where I picked up some different Chai flavors- ( try the chocolate)- for a beverage back in the motel room. Please take the time to visit this beautiful part of St. Cloud!
So many gardens and fountains in the Clemens Gardens. I've watched this garden grow (no pun intended) and expand over the years. Still amazes me the colors and plants that are there. Never tire of this place.
For those who don't know this...Clemens gardens is one of only 10 gardens that has the prestigious honor of testing roses years before they become available to the general public for sale. It also is a stunning set up with hundreds of roses, large fountains, English garden design and a cute gift shop. Be sure to walk down the hill to enjoy the Munsinger gardens as well.
An absolutely beautiful, serene place to visit. Plenty of benches to rest, or just to take in the beauty around you. Small gift shop and bathrooms. Bathrooms are not 24 hours. Gardens are just beautiful themed by color. Plenty of street parking, I've never had a problem parking here. You really need to see it to believe it!
Across the street from the Munsinger Gardens lies this hidden gem of 4 formal gardens. A delight to walk through with each garden surrounding a fountain. Each garden has a theme based on color. Any gardener will go home with many ideas to try out.
I've been here before, so I already knew that the gardens would be gorgeous - they definitely were again this time! My only complaint is that my friend and I arrived at 7:30 p.m. We noted a sign on the bathrooms that said they'd be ope until 8:00. We went back to the building at 7:48 to discover that the bathrooms were already locked. I went around to the gift shop to ask them to reopen, but that was closed, too. Apparently, somebody wanted to get out of there early on a Saturday night, leaving visitors with no restroom access.
We were there during the annual art fair. End of the day, so not much shopping available, but the flowers of each garden are lovely and offer many photo ops.
Unbelievable community garden. Quite peaceful and free. Unbelievable color and a test garden for roses
roses, roses, roses!!! excellently manicured, nice walkways, benches fountain, gift shop and handicapped excess-able.
This is a little place of beauty in the city, a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax.
Every time you go there is something new. A worthwhile side trip, while not a trip destination. Igo 2-3 times a year. I take visiting friends and relatives. Parking is street roads, but close by parks have plenty of parking.
Gardens were well groomed and many flower in bloom in late September when we were there. Staff was very helpful in educating us about the garden.
