I ate here with some friends and all our meals were excellent! They had a live band which was entertaining as well, fun atmosphere.

Once you have enjoyed the visual delights of the Czech Museum, be sure to walk a few blocks into the Czech Village for more historical displays--and some of the best snacks you've had in a long time. Sekora's Bakery should be your stop. Eating just one kolache is almost impossible, and this is the bakery to find the best.

Lots of treasures to be found. From yummy kolaches to vintage hats, there is lots to do and lots to find in this area. I always take friends who are visiting town to see the Czech Village and walk around New Bo. It's one of my favorite areas in Cedar Rapids!

This area has been revitalized after the flood on 2008. Lots of small shops and restaurants. The New Bo Market is always fun for food and shopping. The Cherry Building is home to a variety of local artists & artisans. Of course, the Czech Slovak Museum is the top attraction. Too bad the parking situation isn't better on the eastside of the river.

there is so much to do down in this area, and since the flood there has been so much needed attention there as well. The bike trail goes through the area and everything is amazing.

Love this area; the revitalization is amazing. The neighborhood has excellent food, shopping, and architecture. A must do in Cedar Rapids.

Very disappointed in the area...pictures and write ups don't do service to area...Visited on Sunday, most closed....very small area!

Lest we forget the Slovaks who live in the area too.Yes they do share much but they are a separate peoples unto themselves. However, this is a quaint collection of old buildings and new. The bakery and restaurants give you an opportunity to enjoy a slice of Eastern Europe.A VERY small street, but nice.It is a "Gotta Go" kinda place. (maybe only once)IHG,Rube

Go early for the best kolaches in the world. All there bakery is good but they are known for the cherry, apricot and many other flavors. The bakery has been there for over a 100 years and the building looks very old and worn but it has the best ovens and bakers.

This area used to be filled with shops and hole in the wall bars where the locals would hang out. There used to be an excellent meat market and an outstanding bakery. Neither are there anymore. I like the concept of the New Bo market, but I won't go because the parking stinks. The revitalization is a fad that will last awhile and breathe some much needed air into this area after the flood. But the charm of what this area used to be left with the flood.

Really enjoyed the NewBo market and the surrounding bars/restaurants. This is a very up and coming area and I hope to see it to continue to grow. What a great site to see after the devastation of the flood. Keep up the good work on revitalizing this area as we plan to continue to visit while in Cedar Rapids.

Even though a flood had destroyed almost all of the area, most of the shops and restaurants are back and so worth the trip!! It is like taking a vacation to another country. I will go back again when I visit!

We are in Cedar Rapids for the summer. The Czech Village has a great bakery and brewery. We love to ride our bikes to the village late afternoons for the nachos & beer or hard apple cider. Mornings are pleasant at the village too.

Wish I had more time to explore. Stopped at one of the pubs and really liked it. Would have liked to stay for the life music and visit the indoor market and the book store.

The NewBo Market is really fun. It's a nice additional pit stop after the downtown farmer's market on the 1/3 Saturday of the summer months. Czech Village has a couple restaurants, a bakery, and antique shops. The bakery is pretty good. Nothing too ordinarily special here but like I said, the market is pretty good and it's a nice little street to wander on.
