maharishi vedic observatory

I have visited this site on several occasions and find it interesting. It's fun to know what each structure does and it's meaning. It's a fun walk through during the day when the sun is high in the sky. Enjoy.

The entire city is not what you expect, but it is worth a look. The Observatory and all the buildings in the city are nice.

Needs some work done, paint and concrete chipping and it's better if a tour guide explains it to you

Special with Maharishi University of Management (Maharishi International University) in the near vicinity, with the Golden dome for practicing Transcendental Meditation and TM-Siddhi (Yogic Flying). MUST VISIT

There isn't a tour or anything so don't expect that. You just drive up to it, get out, and look around. It's really neat. Just don't go wondering around Vedic City, those are homes, not tourist attractions.

Despite the lack of technology we take for granted today like telescopes, computers, electricity, air travel, satellites etc - vedic seers several millenia BCE, with their keen observational skills, sense of analysis by "diving within" deduced a way to figure out the sky above us! What human ingenuity!
