We stopped by to visit and order some ice cream while traveling through Le Mars. It was a very cold and bitter day, but we had to have some of this ice cream. Other people seemed to have the same opinion. I am sure we would have enjoyed the ice cream more on a hot day, but it was still very good. I ordered a flavor which had peanut butter as an ingredient,.

We had wanted to pass through LeMars and stop at the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor. What fun! There is a huge selection of flavors, sundaes, malts, etc. There are also really interesting displays of the history of Blue Bunny. We are glad we made a detour here and I'd recommend it!.

Le Mars, Iowa. ...a small town quite like Mayberry is the ice cream capital of the world! The quaint little town has a great big ice cream shoppe, Blue Bunny! There are ice cream cones all over the little town which are great pieces of art. The Blue Bunny is amazing. Two stories of ice cream and history! They have a photo counter where you can take pictures and uniforms to wear too. Take the picture and instantly have it emailed to you! What a great photo opportunity of fun. The ice cream obviously is great! It's a gem in a little town!

We went with our children and ten of our grandchildren. They all had what they wanted for less than 70.00! That is ideal. We left a tip for the servers behind the counter. They didn't get rattled with everyone (kids) yelling their order all at once.

If you are in or near Le Mars, take the time to stop at the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor. There is a huge selection of all Blue Bunny ice cream, sundaes, shakes, and more. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is great.

Just passing through... First of all the parlor is lovely, and fun! Lots of souvenirs and fun things to look at. There was a line for ice cream but it gave me time to decide what I wanted! Note: I got a double dip and it was HUGE!!!!!!!!!! Double dip for me and a malt for my husband was only $9!

We stopped here on our way back to Minnesota from Omaha. It was a great place to stretch the legs and of course fill up on some ice cream. Loved the vibe of the ice cream parlor, super friendly staff, and amazing ice cream!

Drove from Sioux City for the afternoon. Quick 30 minute ride. Did not disappoint. Awesome town, and Blue Bunny? Amazing. Great parlor with some fantastic history. Nice little museum area upstairs along with a photo area for great pictures. Gift shop had a ton to offer. The ice cream itself was so good. A good variety and huge portions. Definitely a must do if you are in the area!

Stopped here while waiting for a movie at the local movie theater to start. Nice air conditioned place. Upstairs is a museum area that talks about the history of Blue Bunny. Just had lunch, so didn't have any ice cream, but I've had Blue Bunny ice cream before and it is rather good.

We stopped here for ice cream on our way out of town. While the downstairs is nice, don't forget to visit the upstairs for a little information about Blue Bunny ice cream. We took our ice cream upstairs to eat. There are tables with chairs (and extra napkins) and you can watch a little video about the history of Blue Bunny while you enjoy eating it. There is also a cute photograph opportunity and you don't even need your own camera. They have a ipad set up that you can take a photograph behind the ice cream counter and email it to yourself. My kids had fun dressing up with aprons and pretending to be the server and the customer. As there were not many people there, they got to play for an extended time while the adults chatted. There were also several nice displays to read about the company. We had hoped that there would be a factory tour available but they no longer do that here. There are nice bathrooms to use before heading out and there is a nice gift shop on the lower floor as well. While there is no fee, you probably will want to buy some ice cream while you are there. They didn't serve any lunch items so we had dessert first and then had a picnic for lunch at the next rest stop.

Been here several times. Mint chip is awesome. Why bother buying the big gallon at the grocery store when all you want is a serving once a month, and this way it's fresh every time. We like eating outside, however, we would love it if the stereo was turned completely off; or at the minimum turned way down. It's hard to hold a conversation with it blaring right down on you in either corner outside. The stereo speakers are directly above the tables outside. Also it doesn't really go with the atmosphere anyways.

This ice cream fountain is a true gem in Siouxland and beyond. The staff are so customer focused, and the ice cream treats are without equal. They even have a museum of sorts and a cool booth-- with props-- to take photos and send to your email address! There's also a cool gift shop with Blue Bunny memorabilia. We loved it! Great for all ages.

The Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor has an old time feel to it. You can be seated and served, or approach the counter and be served. There were probably five or six folk figuring out their choices, and about ten behind the counter, so service was very quick. The ice cream was great. At the seats there is a small interactive screen with the Blue Bunny story, videos, and trivia about Blue Bunny and it's place in the local community. The ice cream was a bit over $3 for a cone, but it was a generous serving, and we enjoyed the time there.
