My husband and I park our trailer here for the season! We love the peace and quiet. We have fun with the regulars in camp and really enjoy the golf!! Our summer home away from home!

My wife and I parked our 40' motorhome here for 4 nights, July 21, 2014. Yes, it is 7 miles away from Ashton on several back roads, but all hardtop (no problem). The campground in in an Aspen grove, but we were still able to connect to Dish with our dome on the roof. The owners were friendly and really take care of this place and keep it both clean and quiet. We were able to do maintenance on our rig here and wash our car as well as necessary work with all the quiet. Rules were not restrictive and wifi was pretty good. We took 2 half-day trips, one to Upper & lower Mesa Falls about 17 mi. N on Rt 47 AND the other to Driggs (30 mi.) where we turned L at the downtown corner and followed that road for about 15 mi. to a deadend at Targhee Ski LIft (1800 ft gain to 9800'). We took it to the top for $15 each. Great views of the Tetons. This campground is a jewel off the beaten path... just what we needed. On weekdays, Passport America members get FHups w/50 amp for 1/2 price.

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. We were having a family reunion with family from out of state. We were really looking forward to a getaway and to have some fun. We begin by letting the manager know that we have family driving up from 4 hours away and would be showing up late. Although they do not like this they agreed that they would check them in after hours but that they would have to charge the $25 late fee. We understood this and asked to be showed our camp spots. Everything went great up to this point. Then the trouble began. The managers would drive by and check on us and would inform us of all the rules that this campsite has. Then in the evening about an hour before our late arrivers were supposed to show up the manager showed up fuming. They let us know that they were closed and that they were about to not let our relatives check in. This all started at about 8PM and our "latecomers" were supposed to show up at 9PM. We told them we would let them know when they showed up so that they didn't have to wait up for us. They were mad but really didn't have any other option as they were informed and agreed to letting us have some people show up late. After this we had many run-ins with them for no real reason. It was as though they were looking for problems with us. In fact they stopped my sister for "speeding" on the grounds. They were doing about 10 mph. At this time they basically told us how terrible we were and how many rules we had broken. My sister asked for some examples, after a few moments of thought they came up with - "you were walking on the grass near the golf course." other than this they couldn't think of anything. We checked the rules btw and nowhere does it say you cannot walk on the grass. We have never felt so unwelcome on such a personal level. It was a joy to get away from this place. We want to warn any of you out there. If you enjoy sitting in your RV quietly not daring to step out to the great outdoors this is the place for you, otherwise avoid with prejudice - especially if you have children. - I tried to post a review on their website but was declined by the site moderator.

This course is a fun little place to suck back some brews and tease your bros. One of my bros hit every drive at a 90 degree to the fairway. Thought he was going to give up the game completely. HE didn't but he still sucks

Driving through the small town of Ashton, ID toward Montana & Yellowstone Park and was enticed by some "home-made" signs along the roadside of US Hwy 20. Had no set plans for the day so we followed the signs to a quaint little "mom & pop" owned golf course. We were able to 18 holes in under 3 hours and enjoyed the executive length fairways (leave the woods at home, and polish up the #9 and putter) and then back to the shack for a quick snack and local gossip. The course is well taken care of, the old barn can be seen from anywhere on the course, and the small RV park looked like a small village of empty-nesters. We even took the "back way" home, stopped in to view Upper & Lower Mesa Falls before heading back onto Hwy 20 into West Yellowstone. Was a far cry from the more "traditional" golf courses we have played on but reminded me why I started chasing those little white balls for anyways. Try it - you might enjoy it too.
