We did the Staircase Run and it was a blast - the staff recommended it based on what we were looking for. The staff was fun and informative. Great time!

This was my first time white water rafting and what a great trip. Our guide Galen was knowledgeable and very friendly and concerned for everyone's safety but also made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely book another trip with Bear Valley again.

We took the day long family trip on the north branch of the Payette river. Our guide, Trevor, was excellent and experienced and gave us information and knew how to get the most excitement out of the Class II & III rapids. The included lunch consisted of chicken pesto wraps, fruit, chips, salsa, and cookies which was a delightful surprise. An attraction well worth repeating. The eight year old stated can we go back down the most exciting rapids before we were completely out of it.

Took a bunch of my high school buddies (class of '89) onto the S. Fork. We were not disappointed, this stretch of river provides awesome action packed Class III/IV The gear/staff/guides really focus on us, the customer, while also ensuring safety. I actually got tossed out at the staircase rapid and they immediately had a safety kayak right on me.I have been with other guides in this area and they just don't make it as enjoyable as these guys. Top off food at their diner (reccommend the ribs) and you have yourself a great day outdoors.
