I took my family there last August. We had a Blast. There are rides for all ages. Did the water park and the theme park. One of my favorites is riding the rides at night. Can't wait till the next time we can get back there
A mini Disneyland! Well I've never actually been to Disneyland so I can't really say that honestly, but Silverwood is a lot of fun for all family members! When we started going, the Ice Show had the gorgeous pipe organ and that was amazing! Everything is still a grand experience without the immense price for admission! I am looking forward to our next trip there!
silverwood is one of the great "local" theme parks. they have added many coasters and other thrill rides over the years. the water park is second to none and is included in the admission price. Silverwood is in northern Idaho and about a 1 hour drive from Spokane wa. we have been to silverwood 3 time and each time they have made improvements. added more rides and increased the size of the water park by double the size from the first time we visited. For families wanting to camp, I would use the farrigut state park. ground are well kept and only about 15-20 minute from park.
Loved silver wood. We spent 1 day in the park and 1 day at the waterslides. It was a great time. Loved all the rollercoasters in the park. The waterpark has the best floating river. So much fun!
Very nice park with something for everyone from kiddos to the thrill seeker. Bathrooms could have been cleaner but that would be my only complaint. Weather is not as reliable as SoCal, but then the admission prices to Silverwood aren't as astronomical as Disneyland either! Fun park, we will be back soon I hope!
We have been here many time and always have fun. They have a great water park so go in the warm summer months but go back during Halloween for their Scarywood night fun!
I am from Florida, and I have been to all of the mega-parks, so I wasn't expecting very much at all. Was I ever wrong! First off, it is clean, so incredible clean, and the landscaping is beautiful. The rides are well maintained and very exciting (some of them maybe too exciting). The food at the park is well above average park fare. The candy store was great! It's MUCH bigger than it looks from the outside. And the water park is HUGE and very well done.I delayed coming here because I thougt it would be bad, but now I regret not coming here sooner. We are regulars now.
Kids just love it. Clean park with a lot to do with kids ( 6 and 8) The water park was extremely busy but was ok.A lot of roller coaster that my kids really enjoy. We definitely be back.
This is a great park with a good assortment of high quality attractions. We only had one day so we did not do the water park. One day was enough to just cover theme park. I would put this park in the same quality category as any of the 6 Flags parks I have been to. (several). Go to the hand scooped ice cream shop. best value I have ever seen in a park!
Great waterpark for the whole family, young adults or anyone who's even a little young at heart! The TWO large wave pools are incredible as they pump out wickedly strong waves that will knock over small children in the shallower side (parents be careful with your young ones). But fear not as Toddler Springs and even better Polliwog Park will be which the kids will absolutely love hands down. The Giant Bucket will drop your jaw and hopefully not your trunks lol. The water slides are not a disappointment! Just a few that I feel are really worth mentioning are... Velocity Peak, will propel you down up to 55mph... don't lose the top ladies lol.Ricochet Rapids, a raft slide 40-foot mountain into a 30-foot valley with a steep drop into a 20-foot diameter enclosed MEGA tube and the raft will fit up to 6 of your family members! Now the best for last. Elk Horn Creek is a lazy river which you float on a tube and you can drink alcoholic beverages... yes... your chariot awaits.
This is a great amusement park for Halloween. They spend a lot of time and money converting the park into a haunted park and have a lot of staff on hand to make sure that you are scared along the way. The roller coasters ride backwards and they create a walk through haunted maze. We love this every year, especially without the kids!! We come from Kalispell, MT for this and get a hotel room for the event. The tickets are half the price of normal entrance fees and the novelties in the shops are all half off for the end of the year sale.
this is a fantastic theme park and has something for all ages. Lots of water attractions to keep you cool on the hot days of summer. Open late. Great food, Friendly staff, and even a train ride. I would recommend finding a place to buy discount tickets(they exist just don't remember off hand). You wont be disappointed. Great water slide park as well.
Fun, fun, fun! Had a great time and loved the atmosphere of Scarywood. Did not like the Total Darkness haunted house. They let our group of 6 go in and we got trapped right away and couldn't figure out where to go. Another large group came in and everyone started shoving and going in circles in complete darkness. There was a least 12 of us in an area the size of a small closet. It was extremely hot throughout the entire house. If you are at all one bit claustrophobic, do not go in here. Finally, someone turned on the light to their cell phone so we could figure out how to get out.
We generally hit the water slides first thing in the morning when the lines are shorter and you can get a table and chairs. Rent lockers first thing to put dry stuff in and for your wet cloths and towels after you are done. The giant raft ride is best with a full load. You can get some high banks on the turns. The river float is a nice relation area for a drink or two. The lines are longer as the day goes on so hit the coasters first. Expect at least a hour wait on weekends.
First and LAST time here. Was really looking forward to going because we went to the Wild Waves one which was fun but this one not so much. They let anybody in even extremely drunk people. They overcrowd the park and the lines are ridiculously long. 3 hours for the train ride and 2 hours for roller coasters and haunted houses. Even 20 minute wait for hot chocolate. So much underage drinking is insane, smoking pot and cigarettes in line was a huge issue and security guards just turn the other cheek. The haunted house themselves are very understaffed so many missed opportunities. They pour a lot of money in the exhibits themselves bit don't staff them properly. I'd concider going back if they only sold so many tickets a night to assure the park wasn't packed to miserable. Think I'll stick to Wild Waves Halloween, at leat they try.
