balanced rock trail

挺大的石头，总觉得能这么保持着平衡不容易，在想是不是再过些时间就会塌了！一定要在风化前去看，说不定过多少年真的就看不到这景了。虽然没有DELICATE ARCH那么壮观，但是也是很独特的一个风景。还有很多游客在步道下面堆了很多石头，也是希望这些石堆能像BALANCE ROCK这样保持平衡不塌。我们也有堆，有单独特写。

开进公园大门 路过法院大楼等景点后就是这个了 真是很好走 不得不赞叹下老美的人性化，把步道修的平平整整 到什么程度呢？就是如果夏天没有积雪的情况下，推轮椅也完全可以在这上面走，走进以后看石头还是挺大的，这个景点去过以后就是南北窗个魔鬼花园等较难走线路了

For people not able to climb and hike the other parts of Arches NP, this is one of the alternatives. Otherwise not worth spending the time. Just enjoy the view of Balanced Rock (which is excellent by itself) from the parking and drive off to Devils Garden or Windows!

You can see balanced rock from the road I would suggest you go to the parking lot and take the short and easy hike to get a good close-up look

Super easy little path to get close to this key Arches site. You don't end up seeing much more than what you see from the road but for those unable to do more difficult walking/hiking, it is worth the stop.

Balanced Rock can be seen from the car/road, but it is easily accessible from the parking lot. The walk around the rock is 0.3 miles on a well paved path that allows you to see it from every angle. It's actually worth looking at from every angle and getting up close. There is a trail requiring a few steps that goes right around it that is well worth it!!! Looks so different up close than it does from the parking lot. When we went this was the first real "walk" we did in the park - and made us so excited to see more.

Balanced rock is right near the parking area and just a short walk will take you all the way around this formation. There are beautiful and vast views in all directions, worth doing the loop rather than just going out and back on the easy trail!

Yes you can see this from the road, but it is well worth the short and easy hike to get up close to this natural wonder.

You can see Balanced Rock from the road and parking lot but you should still stop anyway. There is a very short (.3 mile) pave path that goes around the rock so you can get a view from any angle. Looks much different from the road than when you are standing next to it! It’s a nice little diversion and a good spot for pictures. Not a big investment in your time but worth a short stop.

This 'trail' is really a .3 mi round trip paved walkway that circles around the rock and gives you a view from every angle. Looks a lot bigger, of course, when you're looking UP at it!

This trail and the formation is a great opportunity for that special photo op! Balanced Rock is a unique formation which looks like it can't possibly be sustained, too top heavy. Quite incredible!!

Walk around the balancing rock and from each side you get a different view of how delicately it balances. The walk is easy too.

Balanced rock is a quick trail off the parking lot to see this 3600 ton rock atop. worth the stop over but don't miss the Windows trail turn off on the next road too.

Very easy and quick walk around the Balanced Rock - great photo ops here, very pretty. Well worth the short stop on the drive to Delicate Arch.

A great little walk, fun to take photographs of the balanced rock, it is gorgeous, strongly recommend for your trip!
