Expect beautiful views and wonderful tour guides who will ensure a safe and fun experience. We went on a two-hour tour, which turned into three hours (because I was slow on the snowmobile and slowed the group down). Our tour guides were wise enough to separate the group so that I rode with one tour guide. We rode to the top of a mountain and were able to independently travel around in a large meadow. They freely provide the snowpants and have gear available (boots, gloves, goggles, helmets) so you have a comfortable experience.I learned snowmobiling is probably not for me, but it was still a very good experience.

too bad this come up under Coalville and not park city. 30-40 minute drive from where we stayed at the canyons but totally worth it. We choose this because it was not touristy or gimmicky. We did the 3 hour tour and we had a blast. Tour was on private land so we literally had thousands of acres to ourselves. Saw 2 moose and amazing views. Great guys running the tour. Bring your sarcasm and Witt. We will def come back again.

When skiing became impossible for us out-of-towners in Utah On Feb 1, we sought out a super snow mobile site with 90,000 private acres of land. Our guide tailored our trek to our preferences...ie. lots of land, through the woods, headed to great scenic overlooks.

After years of snowmobiling with a competing company, we decided to give "Backcountry" a try and so glad that we did.Unlike the others, "Backcountry' is truly a private ranch and other than one small group that we passed on the way, it was as if we had all 90,000 acres to ourselves. This time around, we took a 3 hour trip and our guide Dallas, made the trip the most enjoyable it could possibly be. Dallas pointed out several Elk above the trail and in the 10 years we have been taking these tours in Utah (with the other company), this was the very first time we saw wildlife while out out in the backcountry. Additionally, Although all riders were given the basic safety demonstration, we were totally free at certain points to open up the sleds to their maximum abilities.I have snowmobiled for years with several different companies in both Utah and Colorado and our trip today with "Backcountry' was the best ever! Thank you Brittany (at the sales office) and special thanks to our guide, Dallas for a great day!!! We will be certain to see you again next year, but with a private tour for sure.

GREAT snowmobiling trip. Amazing scenery including seeing 4 moose - which we would have never seen if our guide Brad hadn't pointed them out. Brad was awesome. He had great tips for handling the snowmobiling and really responded to the group in terms of how far and fast we could go. Scenery was amazing. You are a private ranch and Backcountry is the only snowmobile company with a license to take groups there. We had an opportunity to do our own thing on the snowmobiles twice (vs following the trail), including off trail riding in fresh powder, which was absolutely awesome and the highlight of the trip. Would highly recommend!

Backcountry snowmobile goes above and beyond to ensure you are guaranteed an amazing time. This is a family run business very accommodating and knowledgable guides. They direct you as you explore some of the most spectacular views Utah has to offer. . Reasonable prices and fantastic landscape. If you enjoy wildlife I recommend you go early morning or the late afternoon tour. Dan and Brad are both great tour guides. They also offer a free shuttle pick up and drop off. You will NOT be disappointed.
