We stopped to get a Rootbeer float because one of my boys had a gift certificate for one. They were large and fabulous! Well worth the money.

The coffee is great, the rocks are fun, but the best thing (which is free, of course) is the warm hospitality and stimulating conversation.Connie & Mark T

Best coffee in america!! Sick of the pump action watery coffee canons? Stop here and enjoy a nice cup of coffee and order an extra shot in the dark. Mickey is very friendly and the rocks are awesome.

This is a great place for a stop while on the road. The coffee is very good and mickey is a great host. You can sit outside, enjoy the view and (if you are interested) buy some rocks

We stopped when we saw the Expresso sign and stayed for a few hours. Don, one of the owners, was a pure delight. It is a visual overload of a grand scale and it's really worth the stop, whether you want coffee or just a good ol' time learning and conversing.

Stopped at this little gem on the way from Phoenix to Salt Lake City. Totally worth it! Don & Mickey were more than kind: they became friends! I highly recommend you stopping in and getting an espresso sundae affogato or root beer float and enjoy their impressive rock collection (a buy a couple while you're at it).

The very friendly owners of this roadside store can answer all your questions about the gems, minerals and fossils they sell as well as the region. We had a great time looking at all the specimens and thanks to our stop here we were able to find a beautiful little slot canyon nearby!

While touring the Southwest I had a permanent twitching in my fingers to collect some rocks. But since most of the places we went to were parks, I resisted the temptation. So when the Rock Stop appeared on the road ahead of us, I could not resist anymore and we stopped for some rock shopping, a nice chat and a very good cappucino. The owner gave some good advice regarding the rocks, pointing out examples of local rocks from formations that we had been seeing during our trip. So I really got what I wanted...if only we had had a (much) greater baggage allowance...

A fun place full of cool stuff..including Mickey. She alone was worth the stop. We drove away with several great geodes, espresso and a lot of good conversation. You should make a stop when driving buy. Tell her that photographer guy sent you!

We stayed right down the street from The Rock Stop, and our attempts to find a cup of actual espresso or a latte with foamed milk and without gaudy heaps of cinnamon were repeatedly and blatantly unsuccessful until we found this place. The coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere friendly and comfortable; lounging in a courtyard surrounded by various minerals and colored glass is surprisingly nice. There are indeed many rock shops in the area (four just within Orderville that we found), and the selection of the rocks themselves may not even be the best, but this establishment overall certainly is.

The Rock Stop was pretty much right down the street from where we were staying near Zion. The guy who owns it was very knowledgeable about rocks and minerals. He had a huge selection of geodes, polished, fossilized and jewelry along with petrified wood and some figurines. It was an interesting place and we bought some geodes. A friend made me a necklace from one we bought there. It's cool to stop to see the rocks.

Do not miss this stop on you way between Zion and Bryce National Parks. This is a one-of-a-kind first order roadside attraction. Used to house dinosaur models. Get your soft serve ice cream and expresso here. Put a stick pin in the map and join passersby from all over the world!

Rock shops are everywhere in Utah - but shops with friendly owners like Don Davis and good old fashioned customer service are a bit harder to come by. We were driving through the area travelling from Bryce to Zion. I knew there were construction delays on the Zion Mt. Carmel Highway, so I figured we better make a rest stop while we could. I saw that the Rock Stop not only sold the usual selection of rocks and fossils, but also had snacks, ice cream, and (maybe most importantly) restrooms. We ended up spending an hour in the store talking with Mr. Davis (the Virginia earthquake had just happened and he was kind enough to look up info on the 'net for us).If you're travelling through the area between Bryce and Zion, be sure to stop in and say 'hi' to the Rock Stop's owners!

The Rock Stop is a cool rock-shaped building where they have all kinds of rocks and fossils, jewelry, and other gifts. They also have soft-serve ice cream and can make any kind of coffee drink you like! There's even a Flintstones car, and a resident dinosaur - "Rocky".It's a neat place to visit and the owners Don and Mickey have a lot of knowledge about the area. Ask them about Septarian's, which the area is known for!
