pigeon river canopy tours

My 12 year old daughter wanted to do the zipline...I was terrified. But the staff was so wonderful and I felt completely secure leaving my "baby" in their hands. The instruction portion was great and as I took pictures from the ground, she was ALL smiles going from side to side on the practice tower. I met her at the end and she looked like a champ walking away from the tower...my tiny little girl among a group of adults...she had an absolute blast and still talks about how awesome it was! Thanks Mike for giving her the opportunity!

This is the second time that we have Zip lined with Wildwater and it just keeps getting better! Mike and Steve were highly engaging, shared valuable information with the group, put safety first and most importantly made sure that we had an amazing experience. If anyone is thinking of Zip linning in the Gatlinburg area then there is only one choice, Wildwater! Thanks again for such an amazing time.

While trying to decide what to do while in Gatlinburg, we had someone recommend zip lining. I did not think my wife was interested so we went on. Well we decided to track the gentleman down and he told us of a great zip line. It was a bit further out but was to be worth the drive. We got reservations for the next day. Our guides Mike and Mike set our minds at ease and prepared us for a wonderful trip. Words cannot begin to explain the experience that we had!! From the first "training" zip it was nothing but fun!!! The leaves had just begun to change so the view was incredible!!! We took the full canopy tour which included all of the zips plus the sky bridges and rabbit hole! It was all more fun than we could have ever expected and far exceeded any expectations!!! I would strongly recommend the little further but beautiflu drive on out to experience this!!! Already planning to come back again and do the full day zip lining and rafting all at one stop!!!

it was our first time zip lining and we were a slightly terrified at the prospect but Mike and StevePut us totally at ease. They started us out on a low zip and worked our way to the quarter mileLong zip across the river at a height of 120 feet. Too awestruck to remember our initial worries.They were both very professional and we had a great time and will not hesitate to do it again.

5 of us went zip lining and 5 of us loved it! Our guides Trent and Steve-o were very professional, informative and very safety conscious! We worked our way up to the very beautiful longer runs and enjoyed all of it along the way! Thanks! Jocelyn Hankins

Zip lining is a must do in Tennessee. When making reservations be sure you book the full canopy tour. Can't beat the last run .25 mile in 45 seconds. AWESOME

Jerod and Jedi mike were our guides for the zip line canopy tour. My husband and I had zip lined in Mexico and wanted to give our kids the experience too. Well our 10 year old son is afraid of heights. The baby steps you go through were the secret to helping him get through it and also enjoy himself. There were lots of a God things to reassure that we were in the right place at the right time. We would highly recommend wildwater to everyone. It was really a great family bonding experience and afterwards our son said he would definitely want to do it again. The next time, it will be the 12 zip course! Crossing the beautiful river was something I won't soon forget, it's worth every cent you spend on it. Fun, fun, fun!!! Jerod and Jedi mike have the dream jobs as far as I'm concerned! ;)

Mike and Steve M were the best canopy guides that anyone could ask for. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the forest we were in and the act of ziplining itself. I had a great time. I highly recommend Wildwater.

For my mom's 70th birthday I booked her the Rafting/zipline combo with Wildwater. It was the best birthday my mom ever had!! The rafting trip was exciting and fun! The zipline tour was fantastic! Mike and Mike were wonderful!! They encouraged my mom and dad through the entire tour. Mom has trouble with her knees and we were afraid she would not be able to do all the stairs. They allowed her time to climb the stairs without the rest of the group feeling like she was holding them by telling us great stories that made it feel like it was part of the adventure, Dad, who is 68, is afraid of heights and again they encouraged him so that he had the time of his life. Our group had all ages and ability levels. Some had ziplined before while some had never done this before. Mike and Mike were able to adjust and ensure that we all felt like experts! The scenery and course were amazing!! Thanks for making this an amazing day!!!!

The zip lines were great! All very different in length and experience. This was our first time zip lining and would defiantly go back. The facilities were good and check in was very simple. The staff were all very kind. Our guides Cena and Jared were fantastic; funny, knowledgeable and patient. Thank you for a great expiriance!

What a way to see the Smokeys! I took my grandkids ages 15 to 21 to the Smokey Mountains for adventure and we sure got it. Our guides, Mike 1 and Mike 2, were awesome, fun but very safety minded. Since this was all of our first times zip lining, I will admit I was a bit apprehensive. I knew the kids would do fine but being a "senior" I wasn't at all sure I wouldn't bog them down or worse yet, not be able to do it. However, it was such a good experience and I had so much fun that I cannot wait to do it again! From the handling of the equipment, to the safety features we would be using, to the practice zips and then the entire trip was totally awesome thanks to our 2 fantastic guides. We thought the first zip over the Pigeon River was cool but the final 1/4 mile zip over the Pigeon River was absolutely amazing! What a gorgeous piece of the country we saw from above!! Members of our group, who had zipped at other places, told us this was by far the best place they had ever zipped at!!!! All of my grandkids had so much fun that they would have gone on the next zip outing, if it hadn't been booked! That is one fantastic memory for the old memory bank! (Plus some brownie points for G'Ma!)

This was our first time ziplining and we had a few that were past retirement age. The staff went above and beyond to explain what was going to happen. They made sure the equipment was properly worn. The initial training was perfect. The safety procedures were absolutely outstanding. We could not have had more fun and enjoyed the experience any more. We definitely recommend this facility and we will be back.

Took my wife and 2 grandsons 11 and 12 on this adventure.. Mike and Turner were fantastic guides and we had a blast. The views were awesome.. we waved at rafters as we zipped over the river twice. I highly recommend this tour to everyone..
