We were returning to Huntsville after a visit to Fall's Mill, Tn on Hwy 64 and noticed a sign for "Prichard's Distillery" as we were coming in to Kelso, TN. We decided to stop and visit since we have heard of Prichard's Spirits, and wanted to see if they had samples of their products. We were greeted by two wonderful young ladies, Angie and Kim who took us in to their tasting room and offered us a sample of the items we were interested in. All I can say is WOW! After tasting the Fudge Brownie Liqueur, I was sold. It was fantastic, and one of the best liqueurs I've ever tasted. I could have made a chocolate milkshake with that...lol. I then sampled the "Sweet Lucy", a bourbon based liqueur with the taste of apricots, peaches and oranges. Once again I was in awe at at the quality of their products, and the neat bottles. I would have bought all of the different products just for the neat looking bottles. I'm not much of a drinker, but this stuff is great, and the young ladies made the visit there very fun, and hospitable. You can purchase all the different products as well as T-shirts, hats and other products so it is well worth a visit if you are out on a weekend drive, and not far from other distilleries.

I find the whole distilling process very interesting, so i thoroughly enjoyed the tour and also the tasting. Their local water department had the process shutdown for the day, so the tour lacked a little detail, but still found the tour appealing. Tasting all of the different variations of rum was a pleasure, i liked the "lucifer" so much i bought a bottle. If the goal of the tour/tasting is to make you buy a bottle, it worked! We only live a couple of hours away from Kelso, so it wasn't a stretch to get here. Don't know if i would go way out of my way to join the tour/tasting, but if you are close to the area or passing through, i would highley recommend it.

We stopped by to have pizza next door and decided to check out the distillery first. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about whiskey, bourbon, rum and how they are made. The tasting selection is broad and the portions are generous. We'll be back!

We were looking for something to do on a rainy day. We had seen Pritchard's in one of the attractions magazines and decided to give it a try. Our tour guide was extremely informative. The samples did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this tour. It was well worth the trip

Loved our trip here. History is a real story, tour is quaint, you can taste all you want. We bought a bench made out of their charred oak barrel staves as a souvenir, tee shirt I am proud to wear along with several bottles of bourbon and Sweet Lucy for gifts. And if you like Rum, you really need to treat yourself to a visit.

We were in the area to tour Jack Daniels and had read the reviews of Prichard's. It was on our must-do list and I am so glad that we didn't miss it. I loved the character of the old schoolhouse. Since they are smaller, we weren't sure what to expect. We were greeted warmly and went in to start the tour. The tour guide was so sweet and it was clear that she really enjoyed working for Prichard's. We loved that we were able to see the process every step of the way and I look forward to returning to see as they add on and grow. We did a tasting and really enjoyed the Sweet Lucy, in fact we had to bring her home with us! I loved both of the cream liquers and my husband enjoyed the original rum and whiskey. You can purchase any of their products on site, as well as t-shirts, glasses/cups and other items. Stop by-well, worth the visit!

On a whim, and as an impromptu side trip, we decided to check out Prichard's Distillery in Kelso, TN. We drove past the small country road, and turned around, and then found a small old-timey school house with Prichard's Distillery written across the top. Our tour guide was truly southern friendly, told us the history, and took us and another couple on a personal tour to the rooms where they make, package and ship the liqueurs, rums, bourbons, Sweet Lucy, and white lightning, with names like Red Neck Riviera Rum. Sampling was fun, and we would recommend anyone out for a drive in southern Tennessee to stop by to see how a hobby turned into a great business!

This small small boutique distillery is just up the road from Jack Daniels. Their rum is the jewel of this small operation set up in an old school house. Include this on your way too or from the Jack Daniels distillery, it's on the way for many folks.

Prichard's is a smaller distillery compared to some of the bigger ones in Tennessee. That however is a treat. You end up getting a much more personal tour, and the samples are delicious. Try their Bourbon Cream!

I recently learned about Prichard's Distillery from friends and decided to make my own Tennessee Whiskey tour. Prichard's was the first stop and what a fun time! Karen was our guide and host extraordinaire. Since Prichard's is a smaller operation, we had a personal, private tour and tasting which we greatly enjoyed. The product is quite good too! I hope to take others to visit soon.

My wife, 6 month old son, and I only had time to tour a single distillery. Since I heard rave reviews about Prichard's from trusted family & friends, we chose it over Dickel or Daniel's (both of whom balked at a 6 month old on their extended tours)... We are so glad we did! The tour was very informative & intimate. This is truly the "grass roots" of distilling: a small but efficient operation housed in an old school house, run by a dozen or so employees. We even met Mr. Phil Pritchard while touring. The tastings offer a small sample of all their spirits and at the conclusion of the tour, you have the opportunity to purchase a bottle or two. Although the prices are a bit above your local liquor store, they do offer a Private Stock Rum, bottled only once a year and ONLY available at the distillery ($100 for a 750mL bottle). Bottom line: this was an excellent FREE tour that we highly recommend.

Stopped by on a road trip with some friends because Jack Daniels and the other distilleries were a little out of the way. Very informative tour and very nice guide. Really great family-run operation and super quality liquors. Had unlimited tastings for free as well! We bought a couple bottles each when we left and are now Pritchard fans for life.

Our lovely tour guide was an informed and cordial lady who gave us a fine tour and many tasting samples. Prichard's Distillery is not as commercial or large as the Others nearby, but the product is quite good. My husband and I bought several bottles to take home after our extensive and generous tasting. If you're visiting Daniels and Dickel, Pichard is nearby and is a must for the serious whiskey lover. And the tasting is FREE!

This distillery may be small (it's not Jack Daniel's), but we truly appreciated and enjoyed the tour and the story behind the distillery. After the tour, we were offered tastings of the products they make (without restrictions). I'm not a bourbon or whisky fan, but I was asked to try the Sweet Lucy Bourbon. I'm glad I did. I actually liked it. They have quite a variety of products. They are growing. I hope that they don't grow to large - it may change the way they operate.

while covering as much of the Tennessee Whisky Trail as possible in four days, this was a very pleasant find - a fairly young company but with a solid product and offering. The tour is done well, and since the facility is in an old school house, it doesn't entail a lot of walking. Our hostess was very pleasant and informative. we were offered a sample of every product they offered (some places limit you to three) we were not pushed to make a purchase. (we bought some product as well as other merchandise, all priced reasonably and not touristy)I am making it a point to come here again.
