What a wonderful place to take the family, especially the little kids. Entry is free, and you only have to pay a little for various things to do such as ride the pumpkin train. Also there is a lot of good food to eat. Most families come and buy something to eat such as a funnel cake, or bar B Q. Don't miss out!
I was impressed with this place! No charge for admission and parking, tons of pumpkins (which really excited my kids), a range of farm animals (for $0.25, you can feed the goats too), a mini maze with hay bails for the little kids and a separate toddler section. Some of the stuff costs money, but you can pick and choose what you want to do. We didn't do the corn maze b/c our kids are little, but my little one did ride the train - it's a very short circle - took longer to stand on line than for her to ride on it but it was cute and exciting for her. I compared it to another farm a little farther out that charged $10 admission per person -- we'd have spent $40 just to get in. At Walden Farm, after several hours, we had spent only $12.25, which included 2 lollipops.
Something for ALL ages. Petting the farm animalscorn maze,a hayride and of course pumpkins. There is no admission, but there is a nominal fee for the hayride. It is a family friendly place.
Walden Pumpkin Farm is a family favorite of ours. In the past few years Walden Pumpkin Farm has greatly expanded. They now have extra parking, concessions, pipe slides with a little kid friendly haunted house. I have family drive 45 minutes for this every year! It takes a couple hours to do all that Walden Pumpkin Farm has to offer; petting farm, pumpkin patch, corn maze, concessions, hay rides, craft store, fresh jams and friendly staff. You can pick your own, or choose them pre-picked and sorted and they are priced and sorted by pallet. Great for families, friends and in-between. Walden Pumpkin Farm has portable restroom facilities on site. Convenient location, only takes about 10 minutes from I-24 and worth the trip! Free parking and no entry fee.
The Walden Farm is a great place to take you children in the fall and see hundreds of pumpkins and all that wonderful fall and Thanksgiving decor. They have animals of all kinds to see and some to pet. This place is clean and well suited for all ages. The corn maze is always a favorite for youngsters. You can purchase pumpkins, refreshments and food on the farm. It can be very muddy if it rains so I'd check the weather forecast. I know you and especially the little ones will enjoy this country attraction.
Almost every year we visit Walden pumpkin patch. First trip was with a class from John Colemon School. The kids were so excited and paid no attention the nippy weather.
Walden Pumpkin Farm knows how to do Halloween! The kids have a blast, and it is an all-around fun way to spend an afternoon.
We love their pumpkins, but the cookies are great, the rides are fun and the stuff for kids keep them running the entire time.
Our family has been going there for years. It is a real farm. They have the pumpkins, of course, but they also have a petting zoo and some decorated gourds. They have workers everywhere, and if you pick out a really big one they will help you to the car. Sometimes it gets really crowded, but the have people that will direct you where to park.
Great place for children to enjoy the outdoors. Tons of options for pumpkins! The animals are well taken care of and made my normally-stonefaced son smile. Free to get in, which is a plus but all the add on's are optional. A+
We had a great time riding the hay ride, picking out pumpkins and walking around to pet the animals. I would recommend Walden Pumpkin Farm to any family in Fall.
