We saw the video on their web site but our visit was not like the video. All the buildings were locked so you could only walk past them. The main house had a sign on the steps so you could not go to the boys room. You can view the living room and kitchen from the door. The girls room was not accessible and the main bedroom was so dark you could see very little of the room. It may be better if there is some sort of event taking place but on an average day...everyone in our group was disappointed and wished we had done something else.

Visiting the log cabins is a great way to spend 2-3 hours and see life in a simpler, but more difficult era. Very interesting to roam about at one's leisure. Great places for picnics.

I had never heard about this before last weekend It was such a surprise The people were so nice. There was so much history to absorb. I will be going back again!
