grundy county historical society heritage center

Being a local, I was amazed when I first visited the GCHSHC! I've lived in this area all my life and I never knew of some of our incredible history. I have taken several of my classes here for field trips as well and it never disappoints. Tourists find the attraction just as amazing! You must see it!

Nice visit. My father got to reminisce about his hometown heritage. I was impressed with all the work that has gone into doing this. Will stop by when we are in Tracy City to visit. So glad there are people interested in keeping this alive!

The Grundy County Historical Society Heritage Center is a museum and research center. There are interesting exhibits about the area including information on the Highlander Folk School, Beersheba Springs, Tennessee Coal & Iron Company and they have a library filled with genealogical documents.
