a cowboy town

Went there with my boyfriend on the first ride and got a safety briefing which was very helpful and safe .Doc was our trail guide and he did a fantastic job he was hilarious will be back for his enetertainment.Hay ride was fun not boring at all.Destiny was fantasic and answered many of my questins like she had been riding her whole life she felt like a best friend.The horss were so calm had a great time

I took my family here for a day of fun and horseback riding. We were so impressed. the property was beautiful. The horses were very tame and easy to ride. The kids had so much fun canoeing, fishing and our picnic! the staff were terrific!

Visited a cowboy town in Whites Creek, TN with a group of friends expecting a replica of an old western town with entertainment in the Saloon. What we got was a run down farm with a couple of barns - one of which was considered the saloon. Maybe we were expecting to much after visiting Gun Town Mountain in Cave City, KY years ago. However, we did enjoy the music on the porch and a cute comedy show. The hay ride was not what we expected either -- a trailer pulled by a Ford pickup and not enough room for all the guest......so we didn't go; even though we were the first guest to arrive that day. A cowboy town could be a great attraction if they put a little more work into the presentation of the property and get a little more organized.

My wife, daughter, granddaughter and I went to Cowboy Town for horseback riding. The wranglers and staff were very friendly and helpful.Horses were in great shape; obvious well taken care of. The wranglers spend time on the safety issue of horseback riding (stirrups, saddles, etc) to ensure everyone was comfortable in the saddle for a safe ride. The trail ride was good; Doc, the lead wrangler, was funny.Food was ok; fair price. The comedy gunfight was somewhat funny, but ok.Not a fancy ranch, but fun for family. Worth the time and money for a good time.

My husband and I are from Phoenix Arizona and we met our two grown sons and our grandson who all live in Florida in Nashville for a family vacation. Our grandson (12 yrs old) wanted to go horseback riding so we searched the internet for a place near Nashville and we found "A Cowboy Town". We made reservations on Tuesday to go horseback riding on Saturday. As it turned out "A Cowboy Town" was only 15 minutes from where we were staying (close to the Nashville Airport) but yet we were truly out in the country. From the moment we got there everyone we came in contact with treated us like we were family. They took the time to make sure our stirrups were adjusted properly and we knew the basics of riding a horse including a safety briefing prior to getting on the horse(s) "Doc" was our trail guide and he had many personalities and lots of stories to share. It was a great ride and with great horses!After the ride we ate lunch while we watched the comedy wild west gunfight show. Billy Bob Shane entertained us through out the day with his musical talents and knew all the country songs we requested. He is a very talented musician!Our grandson played some games kids in the "olden" days might have played. In the rattlesnake saloon we all tried to swing a medal circle to get it to hook on a hook on the wall but none of us could do it. Our grandson also panned for gold and one of our sons lassoed the cow. We also went canoeing.We spent the whole day at "A Cowboy Town" and none of us got bored. It was a great value for our money. Don't expect a Corporate run type of attraction. This adventure is like going to grandpa's ranch for the day! Everyone in attendance that day were made to feel like family!

We went with two of our grandkids ages 10 and 13. The place is pretty laid back, very family friendly activities and "shoot out." Expect to not be in a hurry and for young kids to get dirty (playing in the creek looking for gold). We went horseback riding and that was the best part. Good trails, great staff and great horses.
