a great course and staff makes this secluded golfing experience a no brainer. tucked away in the hills gives you a chance to play a links style on the front, and a mountain course on the back

I love this course. It's fun, challenging, beautiful, and never crowded. Hole 17 will take your breath away as you tee off from 130 vertical feet above the hole. Don't miss this course if you're in the area.

We went in for dinner. Most of their dishes are typical Americana, but its done well and the service was great. Will come again.

Great place the view is wonderful as we sat on the patio. Very friendly and the food was great and reasonable. This is a place we will plan to visit again. You won't be disappointed.

You get everything here. The views are fantastic. The front nine has lots of moguls and valleys and high grass and water creeks that take your ball very quickly. The back nine is a bit flatter but lots of crevases and water creeks again.Do bring balls. Lots of challenges for straight shooters and novices alike. Nice staff nice pro shop nice restaurant. Enjoyed.

Considering the price of golf in the Vail valley this place gets four + stars and although it may be a little rough on the edges it really is a nice course. There are some very interesting holes up on the mesa where the fairway undulates down quite a bit before it rises back up to the green. In some it is a small creek or a ravine and balls will be lost if your shots are not well planned.Greens are in very good shape and fairways aren't bad at all. Some tee boxes are a bit rough.Beers are only $2.75!The staff is super friendly and the Clubhouse Grill has very good food at very reasonable prices. For $55 a round including cart it is a bargain. If you can get a discount time on http://GolfNow.com don't even hesitate. We paid $23 - crazy cheap versus Beaver Creek at $190.We will definitely be back.

This was a very challenging course and a lot of fun. I am from Florida and not used to the elevation and other variables that come with this type of course. The staff was very friendly and the condition of the course was great! I recommend it to any golfer in the area. 17 th hole is a par 3 with the tee box on a very steep cliff that looks down on the green.I also enjoyed them food at the restaurant. The rates were very fair as well. I have nothing to complain about other than the fact that I lost a ton of balls in the shrubs and ditches all over.If you hit straight and have patience you will do well.

About 25 miles west of Vail and just off I-70 in the City of Gypsum is this gem of a course with very reasonable greens fees ($49 incl cart and small bucket of balls). Course is absolutely full size and challenging. It was in excellent condition. Several holes climb up into a high mesa but most are in a lovely green valley. Staff was friendly and helpful. With the high cost of random golf in the mountains, including the ridiculous rates at Vail's city course for a mediocre course, Gypsum Creek really stands out.
