coal creek golf course

This course is closed still from the floods that came during the Fall of 2013. The city has taken the course back from the management company and is rebuilding it with all new irrigation and landscaping.

I had hoped that there would be a nice place to dine at the golf course. I was disappointed that the venue was mostly a sports bar with concession-stand quality food. I wish I could have that hour of my life back.

This course, built about 20 or 25 years ago, has never really worked very well. Early in it's life the course suffered from some kind of turf disease on the greens which necessitated the building of a couple of "temporary" greens for a couple of years, off and on. At least a couple of holes are poorly conceived, and housing intrudes on the course in a couple of areas. I've never found the staff to be particularly welcoming or friendly. The course is always fun for a local hangout. The clubhouse has average food... nothing great

コース設定が凝っていて、１８Hとも飽きずに楽しめます。１６Hは打ち下ろしのPAR４は、ロッキー山脈が一望できて、景色が素晴らしいです。ただしグリーンの芝の状態はシーズンはじめのためか、あまりよくありませんでした。
