new sheridan hotel

Quickly became my favorite spot. Comfy table by the window watching the snow. Great Bartender- (Randall), Great Cocktails, Great Food only wish we would have stayed at the Hotel here.

A full breakfast is hard to fined in Telluride but the New Sheridan does a wonderful job and has a great breakfast menu!

We each had the Benedict, mine was with the short ribs - highly recommended... I'd have added more hollandaise and chimichurri... but it was good... service was friendly but spotty... he didn't come back to refill coffee or water until we were done.

This restaurant is located in a 19th Century Hotel. The hotel and restaurant have obviously been renovated over the years. The end result is a 5 star hotel and restaurant in what was once a rugged mining town.the food, as well as the prices are high end. The restaurant has a rather extensive (for a remote corner of Colorado) wine selection. The waitstaff were very attentive and cheerfully accommodated our requested modifications to the published entrees. This restaurant provides a dining experience comparable to Morton's or Ruths' Chris.I would recommend this restaurant for perhaps a once per trip experience as the town of Telluride has a number of quality (and less expensive options)

Jeeeeeeeeez, what happened to your menu, folks?? $40-$50 for an a la carte steak?? Sorry, we passed this year. The $27 NY strip at Floradora was just fine, thank you.

It has become a tradition for us to dine at the New Sheridan Chop House on the last night of our annual ski vacations to Telluride. The atmosphere is always vibrant and fun in really cool historical setting. The food is delicious,..steaks are really high quality and perfectly prepared...and that Mac and cheese is simply to die for.! wine selections are great and the service is always perfect!

Not cheap, but excellent food in town. Try it and you won't be disappointed! The wine list is also pretty good.

Personally I liked the lounge area the best. Friendly service and good happy hour deals. We did not stop in for brunch but heard from others that it was great.

Walked up W. Colorado at dusk for drinks before our dinner reservation. Incredible sights, historic bar, great food and service. We will go again.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends at this lovely restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was very good. We plan to go back soon!

My girlfriends and I grabbed lunch here while the boys skied. It's a nice comfortable bar atmosphere, but I think the food was average...not bad, but nothing special. The truffle fries are good though! Check it out just because...Our waiter was a cool guy and brought us a big pour of Patron tequila on the house to end our meal. Pretty nice!

Meals at the Chop House are good. Actually our last two visits my meat was not cooked to my liking, they replaced. Also when the wine was not up to scratch they provided another bottle.

Food was exceptional as was expected -- filet was perfect, service & atmosphere were great -- but the unexpected delight came at the end of the meal when we ordered the coconut pie -- homemade in the nearby town of Ophir -- the best we have ever had!!

New Sheridan Chop House was booked solid over Christmas time, so we stopped in for lunch in the front parlor. Best Chicken Pot Pie I have ever eaten!

This hotel is located on the main street of Telluride. We stopped for lunch there and found the food to be delicious and very friendly service. We ate in the Chop House Room which has a great atmosphere and beautiful bar.
