This is a little theatre with some big stars showcasing new, current, and old plays. The quality is excellent and you can see and hear everything. It's a great place to go during the summer and fall months. They are open for performances Thursday through Sunday.

I've been here a couple of times, always checking out their season for when I'm in the area. There's always been a great show.I just had to comment that yesterday we saw "Side by Side by Sondheim". The 4 vocal performers were excellent, as expected. But I had to comment on the piano player who was amazing, stupendous, ... I just don't have the adjectives. Good job by all. I can hardly wait for the 2015 season.

WE have attended a number of the musical events at this theater. Seating is excellent and the ticket prices reasonable. Most of all the performances are very professional

What a shocker! We never expected such a lovely theater and such a great professional performance of "Falling". Ellenville's Shadowland will see all of us again and often.

This is one of the things people think of when they think Ellenville. They have done so much work to this place since I went there as a kid to watch movies it's incredible. Downtown Ellenville on show nights is a mob scene. Parking is taken for blocks around. Can't say enough good things about it.

My wife and I saw a fantastic production of honky tonk highway. ALL the actors and musicians were superb. Their hard work and study to make this an enjoyable production needs to be enjoyed. Tickets are reasonable and there are no bad seats in this theatre. Go, enjoy and tell a friend. Its worth the visit. Once again Shadowland has a hit production. Thank you

I am still amazed at the quality of shows at this place! These are broadway quality shows being done in a little town called Ellenville. We went to see 'Honkytonk Highway" on a Friday night and after this show i am in love with this place. I will probably purchase a season ticket next year so that i can watch all of the shows.....Just AMAZING. If you have not come here, you are truly missing out!

The Shadowland Theater is the real deal. We stopped by and got seats last night for their latest show, a musical - "Honky Tonk Highway." IT was phenomenal. The show has excellent music and some unbelievable comedic scenes. What is amazing though is that this is no summer stock in the Catskills. It is professional top rate theater. The performers were extremely talented. (The woman in a lead role was fresh from the national tour of Wicked.) The set was phenomenal. And the theater itself has been renovated and is simply beautiful. Don't shy away thinking you are gonna see some "Nice Try" theater. Shadowland is the real deal.

Once you enter into the wonderful Theater you will find it very hard to believe you are in Ellenville, NY. The place is wonderful and the shows are fabulous. It is worth your while to see a show if your are in the area. You will not be disappointed.

The acting is always top notch and the theater is well maintained and cozy. The shows they do are a little obscure for me. The musicals have been my favorites and I think their ticket sales prove the same for the majority of people.

Impressive seasons for this theatre, now celebrating its 30th year of quality performances. Excellent prices and comfortable theatre. Can easily see and hear all performers no matter where you sit. Equity actors in every show. Nearby restaurants for before or after the shows.

Season ticket holder last two years. Good shows at a great value.if you are a fan of community theater you will be hooked on the shadowland

The production we saw was "The Marvelous Wonderettes, Cap and Gown". Both the cast and the music were exceptional.

While in Ellenville, we decided to take in a dinner and a show. Both turned out to be excellent. I was very impressed with the building the theater was in. Every seat is good. The play, "Boeing, Boeing" was hilarious. I will definitely come back to this theater when in the area.

Small, intimate theater, not a bad seat in the house.. Professional productions in newly updated venues. A class act.
