constable hall

This "museum" was the summer home of William Constable, a local businessman. They have really neat pieces of furniture and have done their best to preserve the hall as it was in William's day, although financial shortages have made that difficult. Still, you are given a guided tour by enthusiastic volunteers. They are willing to talk to you as long as you are willing to listen. They have a garden that is being converted back to how it was when the Constables lived there, and is very nice with a sundial right in the middle. Overall, Constable Hall is a secluded piece of history that deserves to be recognized. Admission prices are certainly cheap enough. I wouldn't recommend it for small children, as I think they'd get bored easily.
