This is one of the only established drive-ins still open amid many closing up in the area. Frequented this drive-in several times last year. I used to bring my kids here, now they're in college. It has many memories for my wife and I. The food is good and of course, the atmosphere is great. For nostalgic sake, get out this Spring/Summer to enjoy this experience before it meets the same fate of the phone booth.
Bring lawn chairs, a cooler, put the kids in PJs, and travel back in time when all movies were double features. Could not have been better. even the popcorn did not disappoint. Loved it.
If you are in the area...do not miss this drive-in. Love it! Very nostalgic. Just sit back and watch all the little ones with their pj's one before the show!
Put the kids in their jammies, pack a cooler or pick up a pizza, bring lawn chairs and blankets. Upgraded digital projectors show first-run movies-- always a double feature! Rare Americana drive-in experience at its absolute best. Support the snack bar too. The cost of thise new projectors almost closed the place for good. Worth the drive from anywhere!
Now with 4 screens one can have their pick of first run movies. Can sit in or out of your car and enjoy a good movie. Well kept place with well-stocked concession stand. Very nostalgic.
I've been coming here my whole life and love it. Why would I pay to see a single movie when I can come here, enjoy the fresh air, not have a bunch of loud people sitting right next to me, AND see 2 movies, sometimes 3 for the price of 1!!! Now there are so many screens there is always something there to watch. I do wish you could mix and match which movies you see since the movie pairing can be odd sometimes, but I can understand why it's not allowed.
Great place to go with your family or significant other for a night of fun. Good movie selections. Something for everyone!
This is one of the last outdoor movie places around. It has three screens so you can select from three different movies. If you have never been to a drive-in, you should try it.
We stop at Pauls and get a pizza before we go to the drive-in. It's a little bit of home town fun. They don't have a problem with bringing in food and drinks
Considering drive in theatres were huge in my younger days, they now seem to be a dying business. But, as long as the movies are playing in the summer, it is so comfortable and fun to eat popcorn and junior mints!
I haven't been to a drive in theatre since the 70's. I was surprised that they were still around. You had a choice of seeing one movie out of four different screens. I liked the idea of the movie playing through your radio rather then those speakers you used to have to hang on your window. The movie was fairly reasonable for us and the drive in wasn't crowded and the people that were there were very considerate of the people around them.
