market street art center

I went to see a certain exhibit. Unfortunately, the only woman working there didn't know anything about it. No matter, I decided to just look around. I enjoyed seeing the vestiges of the factory among the artistic creations.

This is a very nice art gallery/gift shop across the street from the Erie Canal. What is interesting is that many of the artists have their studios there and you can walk right in. We were able to browse as long as we wanted and no one bothered us. If we had a question the proprietor was very willing to help. Unfortunately, the quilting section was close so we'll just have to go back.

They have done a lot with this place. Some very nice artists using various types of medium: pottery, jewelry, photography, paintings, sculpture. Have art lessons as well.

What a cute little gallery. Very peaceful and inpirational. Art is cycled regularly, and they have a nice gift shop.
